I grew up in Cornwall ( I now live in Cheshire)and every summer I loved going past a thatched cottage on my way to the beach at Gunwalloe. It was beautiful, just like yours.

Love your house, and that part of the country. fascinating facts about thatch, and I would definitely be putting money aside to replace it as you have done. I saw another gorgeous thatched roof at Knaresborough recently, another gorgeous place 😊

Hi. Have you ever travelled to Torquay? There's a village call Cockington with some stunning chocolate box houses. I'll look out for knaresborough on my travels. Mark
