This is how I play "Can't find my way home" by Steve Winwood. Follow the "walkdown" portion with F to G and then return to D, rinse and repeat.---------"Come down off your throne and leave your body alone......."

Is that a Yamaha? I enjoy playing my Yamaha Fg-75 acoustic, parlor guitar, I ususally see only Martins being played on the you tube, Yamies have a nice sound too! Btw: Marshal Tucker band uses that walk down with the song " Can't you see". Its a good one.

well i understand you are doing a walk down in the bass but if you are doing Dear Prudence there should be an F# on top through the verse.

Sorry, but this is wrong, or at least is not the walkdown Lennon does on Dear Prudence. Lennon keeps playing the D note on the B string (3rd fret) and F sharp note on the high E string (2nd fret) throughout the walkdown, so you have to use your pinky to play the C note on the A string (3rd fret) starting the walkdown. Then switch to using the index finger on the B and B flat notes on the A string, keeping your ring and middle fingers on the B and high E strings to keep playing the D and F sharp notes. It’s tricky, especially if one has smallish hands. The walkdown you show is still a common and useful walkdown.

You have talked about nothing but nonsense for about 2 minutes before getting to what you are about to show us...and that caused me to loose interest!
