In today's vlog we head to Universal Studios Orlando for a mid run updated look at Halloween Horror Nights! We wanted to see how our house hype list has changed and what changes have been made to the houses and event. They tend to make changes all the way through the event so it's always fun to see if we can spot anything we haven't seen before on each trip! We update our house ranking list as we go and we got to finally check out the Stranger Things interactive pop up experience inside the Horror Store at the 5&10 store. We also had an HHN favorite snack, the twisted tater and we show you what the wait times were like for Sunday night at HHN. Hopefully this helps with you future planning for Halloween Horror Nights! Hey Tim! We met you right after you went through Us, just before you filmed your opinions on the house. We did the stay and scream for Stranger Things that night and did not have an express pass, but we got through all 10 houses and all the scare zones with 2 hours to spare at the end of the night. It is possible! 😁 It was great to see you and get a photo with you! Thanks for letting us stop you!

The opening scare-amonys aftermath isn’t as intense as Hollywood’s. I mean people in Hollywood just start running in and the scare actors start revving up their chainsaws and run at them, it’s so cool

We were there that night too!! I was keeping an eye out for ya but we were moving through the houses at opposite times. We had an amazing run through at the universal monsters house! It was our favorite. This year we had a new element, a wheelchair lol it was actually really impressive how accessible the houses were. We do express as well and we have done it without before.....the wait times were crazy!

Yay, i'm glad Graveyard Games is still one of your favorites. Also i think they wanted you to press the button on the walkie talkie overtime you try to talk to her...but I could be wrong, they didn't really explain it, thats just what it seems like to me.

Thanks for the advice on a express pass..... got through all 10 houses this past Thursday. If you want to make spiral cut fries and curly cut fries, Oster use to make a tater twister appliance. They do not make them anymore but I've found several on ebay. Very fun to make. You can cut with the curly attachment and separate a section that easily fits a hotdog.......skewer it and fry it up in peanut oil......Yum!

Interesting ranking. Seems like Tim prefers the original houses over the movie based ones. All the movie based ones were on the bottom of his list except for Ghostbusters. Which really isn't a scary house. I enjoyed it immensely for the nostalgia though.

We've been doing hhn for 11 years and we also felt it has now become a two-night event. You can certainly do everything in one night with Express but not without a sense of urgency you wouldn't have if you spread it over multiple days.

We did two nights this year, express passes one night. And the second night scareactor dining five houses, rides, scare zones and the shows. 🎃🎃🎃

Nightingales and Graveyard Games still my favourite did get the lion 🦁 jumped right at me lol. Monsters was ok just that woman that screams in your face through it lol. Yeti was good the yeti’s that get you from above with their arms really got me lol

My husband and I went to horror nights last year on Halloween for our honeymoon we are so sad we couldn’t go this year but maybe next year! Till then we are loving watching you go

Yeah Tim, ur absolutely right, i was in line for nightingales and there was a cast change for depths of fear, and i at least saw maybe four fish people and the rest are infect humans pretty much

Was there Saturday night. A few of the houses opened up early, like 545pm to those inside the park. I recommend doing Stranger Things last since that wait time was the longest. I did all the houses, minus Us (not a fan of the movie), without express just using the app to see what the wait times were. Ghostbusters with a 10 minute wait, Depths 10 min wait, etc. Stranger things at the end of the night, like around 1ish AM I only waited 30 minutes I think. My ranking: 1. House of 1000 corpses 2. Universal Monsters 3. Killer Clowns 4. Grave Yard Games 5. Ghostbusters 6. Stranger Things 7. Yeti 8. Nightingales (the wait was so long and it didn't deliver for me) I think all the houses did look amazing inside. I even got to see the full Halloween Marathon of Mayhem on the lake which was frickin awesome! The Academy of Villains show was incredible! The viking area was always scary and fun. Anarch-cade was ok but it looked really cool. Zombieland Double tap area was fun as well. I thought the Vanity Ball was interesting and unfortunately I didn't see the Rob Zombie area, totally forgot about it. I was even able to go into Islands of Adventure to watch the Death Eater show display on Hogwarts and ride Gringotts (i had a park hopper pass). I think the entire event is doable with time management, if you're in the park early already and stay until the end. A few times I walked around just looking and eating snacks and rode The Mummy before I left the park!

We went down there about 2 weeks ago and my favorite's were Universal Monsters and Graveyard Games. SOOOO good. Universal Monsters made me sad that Universal canceled the Monster Cinematic Universe. Try again Universal! For Nightingale - I have Asthma and the smell in there actually triggered my asthma, by the end I could barely breath and was thankful I brought my inhaler. The staff who helped me said I wasn't the only one who complained about the smell so just a heads up for people with moderate asthma. We bought the Rush of Pass, which was for all the nights in September, even though we don't live in Florida and ended up going three times (Though we did 6/10 houses the first night, then the rest the second). Totally worth getting the Rush of Fear pass even if you only go twice.

OMG my boyfriend HATED the house because of the smell but it was one of my favorites. lol I have asthma too btw but I didn't feel any affect.

We thought the same thing about Depths of Fear. The first week of our holiday had loads of the big fully converted fish men, but doing it again the second week was more infected humans. They also seemed to come for you a bit more, possibly becausw they could see better lol. Us is an incredibly creepy house. The second run through increased the creepiness, and I felt they'd added more scares. I hope you get a good run through of it before the event finishes

@Emily Chatham I can't say it was boring, it was authentically pleasing to look at. The costumes were amazing. I actually got some pretty good scares, and it was not lazy. Honestly ST was the biggest trash out of them all.

We were there a few weeks ago. Did a few houses and rides first nite and second nite did two houses and then express pass we did all ten house great time, tend to agree with tim on those few!

FWIW the library ghost and klownzilla puppet were there when we went on 9/18. We never had a good run through of US either, unfortunately I think it's just a weak house. But we did manage to do 15-18 houses a night on our trip without express but then again that was in mid-Sept.

My first HHN this year I did 11 houses w/o express plus every scare zone. And I got there at 7! Then the second time we got there at 6 but only made it to 3 houses 😂

The non movie themed houses were the best. Monsters, graveyard and Yeti were our top 3. Visited HH29 twice in a week. The academy of villains show was brilliant.

We did the R.I.P tour last night and it was definitely worth the money! We got round the whole HHR twice. Went for food twice. As many toilet breaks as you need. Behind scenes walks. No wait times for rides, houses...anything! It was SO worth it. You also get background info on the house before you enter. If youre a tourist its definitely worth it so you get an amazing experience and get it done in one night!

Ip houses are for film lovers and the originals are for the scare factor. I’m a huge fan of horror movies and it was awesome going through the US house. Jason went through with pictures of every blood splatter to make sure they were movie correct, it was one of the most movie accurate houses ever at Hhn. I enjoyed every house there and doing the RIP and unmasking gives you a lot of insight on everything if y’all are interested.

Oh how I love HHN and the fog. You guys put me on to HHN and I can’t wait to go back in a few weeks. I’m kind of sad that stranger things is at the bottom of a lot of people’s list. How many years have you guys been going?
