It's wild how music feels to different people. A lot of people just feel pretty much the same thing when hearing this and the normal version. To me, it sounds so incredibly sad, alone and kinda depressing that i wasn't able to listen to this version for years, because i got a heartache from listening to it, reminding me of my own loneliness and seeming inability to make and maintain friendships, even 3 years later. Meanwhile i found a way to deal with it almost completly and now i can listen to this and enjoy it, although still a bit painful sometimes. If anyone reads this and feels kind of the same as i do, i wish you the best in the future and whatever your situation might be, eventually, it will get better, i truly believe that.

One thing I really appreciate about this game is that it doesn’t penalize you for enabling the easier versions (assist and peace and tranquility) I didn’t enable help for the main game, but I’m not good enough at the game to do most of the death wishes on my own, so it’s really nice to be able to get all the same rewards for less frustration and difficulty, not that it’s easy haha I was a fan of A Hat in Time years ago when DanTDM played it, I was a fan about a couple years ago when I watched a full no-commentary playthrough, but I’m an even bigger fan now that I actually have it myself.
