I am a composer, music producer & sound designer from Switzerland for modern media and video-games with 22 years of experience. Known for composing the soundtrack to Gears For Breakfast's critically acclaimed mega indie hit 🌂🎩 A Hat in Time 🎩🌂 and its two DLC packs, Seal the Deal and Nyakuza Metro. I will never stop thinking there was more planned for seal the deal DLC. there was only 2 acts not counting the finale.

well to be honest, it looks like the level itself was only worked on over half-way through the DLC's development according to the update logs, as far as I recall anyway, so if they had more levels planned, they ran short on time pretty quickly.

What an adventurous feel! This could fit for a cutscene that shows the ship leaving port, I'd think. Or something similar, maybe?

I can only imagine this as the ship taking off and Hat Kid running around the ship pretending to be all sorts of different roles of the ships take off like climbing the "mast" or undocking the ship ending with her calling "FULL STEAM AHEEEEEAAAD!!" While the captain apathetically pushes the throttle for the ship to move. Hat Kid being energetic still and the scene ending with "attention passengers and 'crew', this is your captain speaking, the ship has now set sail... Try not to fall off..."

It is interesting to see how some similarities between the musical ideas of Alpine and cruise is further demonstrated in this one. And DUDE that phrase at 1:22 is so Fourside which is super cool. Kinda wonder if it’s intentional?

When was this supposed to be playing? It takes a while to get up to steam, so not a cutscene is my guess, but it's also too prominent to be level background music.
