YES n AMEN!!! No need to pray to Mary or e saints..FOR NOW. . I KNOW THT MY REDEEMER EVER LIVETH TO MAKE INTERCESSION FOR ME......(B4 asking He already did it!!!) No need to confess sins to e priest n contamnate him. I discovered via e H.Spirit tht God IS LOVE n experienced His intense saving Love n found God so near n approachable...... even can be enjoyed than previously fearfully endured!!! My sins n petition for my needs now goes direct to Christ.... He more than hears.... responds stat... n empowers us NOT to sin tht same sin. I AM set free from e Law of SIN N DEATH thru e SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS. Depression n torment (CONDEMNATION KILLS).... is now history for me!!! I am free to approach God freely, ENJOY HIS COMPANY... instead of fearfully enduring Him whn I ws a timid R/C!!! Nobody ever told me tht God is to be enjoyed till AFTER e BAPTISM OF E H. SPIRIT....... holy laughter overtook me but surprise.... just like my gleeful childhood days' laughtr.....so unbelvable, yet happened n popped up unexpectedly!!! Am so glad for GRACE, THANK U JESUS tht u came to earth for me...Am now so light... n filled wth free joy... to openly, spontaneously love Him (Abba) bck as nvr b4 possible to be expernced directly n approach Him thru Christ......such a warm n loving Daddy (Abba) God Who KNOWS n understands my nutty ways...still loves me regardless n meets my nds b4 being expressed in prayer!!! Wht a PRIVILEDGE what a WONDERFUL GOD!!! NO MORE RELIGION FOR ME.......I MUST FEEL N KNOW HIS PRESENCE IN EVERY PERSONAL ENCOUNTR WTH HIM !!! SINCE E NEWBIRTH.... I LOVE YOU JESUS!!! They were primarily converted to holy practice by Thomas a Kempis, founder of lay brothers in Catholic late Middle Ages and the Divine Office (liturgy of the hours). Their heart was converted by a simple faith added to this. You were confused: Yes John Wesley was moved by a simple view of Jesus' power to save, but in longer practice, he saw that people can fall away and need to stay faithful in belief and work in life (not the "works" St Paul says are useless, which are the old covenantal methods of Hebraism): Yes Jesus' promises are by him alone, and through our faithfulness in life and belief. But in practice, we get the promises fulfilled through our heart and life's work faithfully well lived, not as mere works. Luther willfully misunderstood and tried to throw out the whole book of James, ignore the "work out my salvation in fear and trembling" of St Paul. But it was where it was stated most plainly what was meant. (And intercessory prayers with the saints, especially Jesus' precious mother, and assistance from angels, is not idolatry, any more than loving and asking for prayers on Earth are.)

@@clarekuehn4372 Yes I agree with you that faith without works is dead , It should change the person that we are loving and kind and serving others it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re starting a big mission and feeding people and clothing people but in your own life you do those things you’re serving God in your own life some people get Goodworks mixed up with a changed heart

God wants obedience not sacrifice

@@letsfindout6587 Sometimes to be obedient to our Lord, sacrifices must be made, be they small or large. Even moving from one place to another because the Lord wants you there can still be a hard sacrifice to make when family and friends have to be left behind. Obedience and sacrifice are not interchangeable but instead walk hand in hand with us.

Very touching. I'm greatful for being able to hear the story. I only wish, My life could be full of music .and my love for our God,and our Jesus Christ continuously as it is by just listening to it. I want to have the Lord in my heart mind,body,and soul.songs bring out the feelings so strong . I wish I could sing these songs in praise daily. Glory be to our most wonderfull and Most powerful Holy God,and Jesus Christ our miraculous Saviour. I would love to get all this music so I could listen to all this music and with headset on and sing and praise God daily. And not to drive my family crazy, but to praise God daily. Even driving and walking, I could enjoy praising God,, and Jesus. Soon I hope to get better glasses to read scripture better,and more easily. I wish, I could find good brain food to help me remember what I study mostly. I know by studying now God will bring it to my mind when I call upon him for his help and guidance. Amen

Yes! Amen! I read a book about John and Charles Wesley’s mother and father Samuel and Suzanna while I was pregnant with my sixth child. Suzanna’s strength, devotion to scripture and to teaching her children about Jesus encouraged me to persevere under some very trying circumstances. I was brought up in church by Christian parents and a Godly, born again mother so was very familiar with John and Charles And their hymns but it was by the story of their mother that I named the son I carried then, Wesley.
