It's sad because the girls look at their father like he's a stranger or as if they don't remember him which is sad and it's beautiful they can see him for Christmas.

My dad was in the military for 1 and a half years and i really missed him, and one day he returned during a school talent show. and it was so amazing cuz my friends class was doing a dance (my dad knew i love joking around with john cena) and during it they all stopped and made a path at my gym door with the john cena theme playing and suddenly my dad dressed as john cena and they made all the lights turn on and flash and i started crying and laughing and it was the most amazing enterance ever

I always wonder how Ellen has so much pull in the Military...

My dad was in the army for 20 years and just got out like 2 years ago, and he deployed 2 times and those were the hardest times because he was always there and then he wasn't... But he came back one time and I got called to the office and I never got in trouble so I was kind of scared, and when I walked into the office I just have the staff staring at me smiling and I have no idea why and I go to the office and I see my mom and sister and I think nothing of it and I turn into the room and I see my dad and I just started crying I was so happy, because he came home early too, he wasn't supposed to be back for another couple months, but he was able to come back early because he had so many physical problems at the time

I’ve always loved Ellen, but since the pandemic started every night before bed I watch a few clips from Ellen on KZfaq, and it just makes me feel GOOD. She is incredible and inspiring. Because of Ellen my family and I reached out to local nursing homes to see if any of the elderly were interested in becoming pen pals since no visitors are allowed (nursing homes in our area have been hit BADLY with most cases and deaths) it’s something small, but Ellen was our inspiration to do something kind for people in a time where the world needs more kindness. Thank you Ellen and crew for being a light!!
