It took me so many days to record that last scene for this vlog. But I needed to open my heart and tell you all about why I feel so depressed right now. To let you know about the situation we are in, and that we might need to lose what we love so much.
Even if we take one day at a time right now and try to see bright on the future, it is constantly draining us.
And of course, when one bad thing happens, much more comes at the same time...
Like, loosing the forest you loved.
But, I feel so relieved that I finally are able to upload this extra long vlog. It felt important to me to share the reality of this situation.
And it's been some beautiful, really cold days here and of course I wanted to give you all a little glimpse of that as well.
With all my heart, thank you SO much for watching! ♥
And I hope you all are having a lovely december.
LOTS of love to you! ♥

This video broke my heart... When you were sitting on that rock, and the trees weren't there anymore, I actually cried... I'm so saddened that humans can't see the value of these forest and can't feel how alive they are! I guess rare people like us can see it and feel it. Your photography, and videography captures he energy of these forests! Right now i live in a small town, but one day i want to be immersed in nature like you. Until that day, i will just keep watching your videos, and feel the infinite wisdom of nature through your videos.. Thank you so much for your work. I love to be in the forest with my dog and also I also have favorite forest. This year I also made the experience , my favorite forest was gone. I felt sad, but somehow I thought... common! Don't be sad, because of a lost part of a forest. but actually I was right... it is a reason to be sad. You reminded me again of it, because you shared your feelings. Thank u !

It's time to draw on your spiritual and nature powers. You arrived 7 years ago for a reason. You can do this, if you believe. Nature healed you, now it's your turn. Time to draw on earth power, DM me if you want to talk this through. Believe with your whole heart, you are more powerful than you think. It's time to call forth the forest powers, the northern light powers. Create a kulning and release it with every strength you have. We will all hold the vision for that gorgeous place to remain untouched. We have all been healed by that place. Call forth the forest girl. The unseen power of the earth is stronger than that company. Like you said, it's not about you, it's about nature. Do it for your nature family. My wife and I just finished watching your video, Jonna. It brought tears to our eyes. We know what you and Johan are going through. We live in Northern Maine, which is almost identical in climate to where you live. We purchased some land in an area called "Mount Chase". We found out that a company from Canada bought nearly 7,000 acres of land, including one of our mountains. They intend to start drilling into the mountain, and using TOXIC chemicals to mine the ore! This isn't even legal, but they are giving money to local government officials, to look the other way. We also deal with the logging industry here. The biggest company is called "Irving", and they love to come into an area and saw down every tree, and wreck the land with their heavy equipment. Then they spray an Herbicide (glyphosate) onto what is left of the forest, so that it kills most of the plants except for the trees which they replant. This has caused the death of much of the wildlife here. Please fight this wind turbine industry. We have some of them in our area, here in Northern Maine. We will be praying for you and Johan to make the right decision.

Her image of "connecting with nature" is for profit at a level where it becomes sickening. Unless, of course, her depression is related to her denying what she know in her heart and head is the truth. But I could not hear one single reflection in that direction. Makes me sad, but I am willing to give her one more chance. I am currently studying energy engineering for my master's degree and have completed modules focused on renewable energy, wind turbines included. As part of the studies we are taught the physics, sustainability (economic, environmental and social), the benefits and impacts of wind turbines, how to implement them and why. My goal all along was to be involved in the renewable energy transition for the good of the environment and human health (when compared to our current fossil fuel addiction). What bothered me is that we are taught about NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard), where local people are seen to obstruct projects against what is perceived to be the greater good, and that local people are an obstacle that is to be navigated for the benefit of society as a whole. To me it feels as though we are all taught, Wind turbines are better for the environment than fossil fuels, can be very profitable and serve society as a whole, so they are therefore the best solution to most problems. I want to thank you for highlighting what real people in these situations actually feel and the impact that this energy transition is having on real people, you have given me a real moment of pause. I got to see many of your videos first and so have fallen in love with the nature that you live in, now I am also upset that your home could be destroyed, seems hypocritical for me to want to help fix nature by destroying nature. Videos like this need to be seen, otherwise budding engineers such as myself could end up with the wrong impression that what they are doing is always the right thing to do, yes wind turbines have their place in solving the climate change crisis and I stand by that, but it does not have to be there. This is what happens when business and profit takes over, and real people and nature are cast aside. I have signed the petition and support you.

Sad yes, but no untouched forest looks like that. Most if not all the trees in the shoot have been replanted at some point. About some 50+ (depending on the climatezone) odd years and they will cut them again. She is walking in modern forest not an ancient and untouched wilderness. It's a cycle of planting and cutting and roughly about 9% of Sweden's forests are protected areas and have a more or less guaranteed natural cycle of life by law. Yep that's just boring me, but man those are beautiful shots of nature and the sad contrasts of industry..

They still use an internal-combustion engine in their car and all new technologies and devices produced in very polluting factories. This is the way of life, the way of the world today. Too often we hear this same story. I cry with you our angel. I pray the nature wins, there is still time to see a change in the course. Love from Fnland.

I was up 3 hours at night, woke up to think about this. An idea came to me. Maybe it is already in some of these 3000+ comments you have received :) We/world really do care for your cause! So the idea. There are funds and stiftelsen that buy and protect precious land. Your videos show yours is such. Have someone check what these instances are in Sweden, both private and public. If you contact and appeal to the public instance that protects forests that have special value, maybe they feel for this cause in their heart and protect the forest for future generations. Everything is possible. And you are a public figure in Sweden so they might use this case to improve their public profile as "good guys". Here is a snippet of a private organisation that operates in Finland. If you guys need private money to buy the land, I am sure a GoFundMe project would get enough funds. I would love to own a piece of that precious land.

Jonna, you have more power than you realize. You can and you must fight this! Gather support from your fans in Sweden, and have them gather others as well, then come to the meeting in January with a HUGE following so that the politicians have to listen. Give them a speech during that meeting, show them what the forest used to be and still can be, and protest, protest, protest. Through KZfaq you make your voice heard. Let it be heard.

I grew up in a small village in Russia, and it was magical, clean waters, purest air. In a last few years the wind directions have changed and now a lot of smoke from the city factories goes there. And the mines drain something into the rivers as well. So the water is nearly brown and the air is not that pure anymore. This video made me cry hard...

The forest of my heart has been cut down too. Last week I went for a walk, I felt happy because it was the first time in a very long moment, and then, it was just gone. The fairy's path, the land of the skies, the mushrooms circle - all disappeared. I stopped breathing for a moment. People don't realize how painful it is to lose a place that we loved so much. Peculiarly a place like a forest, where we know that we were not alone because we could hear the spirits and the whispers of the trees, and the animals, as we know that they were watching us. That all of this was their home. It feels like losing a part of our heart. Send you love Jonna, more than ever. ❤🍂🦕🌙🌲🌲

So, you're suggesting mass-murder? Who gets to decide who should live and who should die? No it's not about overpopulation. Living in the north of Sweden I know there is plenty of space and resources. Do we really NEED that much resources to live? No, we don't - we're just spoiling ourselves. Overpopulation is a myth. Greed, however, and the Swedish 'Norrland-is-a-colony-for-exploitation' mentality are very real. All the best!

Evil Cactus there was a post about this. And it can be proven with simple math. That if you took every person on this planet 🌎 and moved them all to the USA state of Texas. They would each have 1,300 square feet to themselves. Now granted, no one is truly advocating this. But it does prove that overpopulation is a myth propagated by the mass media. But overconsumption is the real problem. Most of us take, and above all waste too much of everything.

When Jonna sat there on her rock and looked out over the once evergreen forest, now devastated, and when she leaned over and kissed the tree stump. I realise that it just felt so much like she kissed a dear friend for one last goodbye. It broke me. I am now in tears and they won't stop running. I had never before thought of the forest as something so alive and something that is actually so beautiful and rich. That it gives us humans so much in every way. Not only wealth in trees, wildlife and land but also support in life, just like a close friend. Thank you Jonna for showing us what nature means to you. Jonna, I too cried for your beloved forest. There is so much that doesn’t make sense. I am in Australia & have been dedicated to finding solutions for how to live more sustainably on the Earth for many years. In my searching I went to university & studied Health & Environment, I worked for mining oil & gas companies as a Health Specialist, I travelled Australia for 2 years catching camels from the wild as a form of sustainable transportation, and then I worked for local government as an Environmental Officer. My whole journey led me to waste. The solution I found is in our hands. Waste Reduction. By individually reducing single use packaging less trees get cut down, less power is needed, less mines start up. Gosh, I have so much to say on this & it’s also hard to find the words. I too cry for the Earth, rejoice with the Earth & pray that humanity wakes up. I’m at the beginning of my journey of blogging/vlogging, but I too hope to have an impact like you. Thank you for your beautiful heart. Thank you for your beautiful message. Thank you for sharing your life & feelings with us. You are such a shining light & inspiration. I hope we can turn the tides so future generations can celebrate & be connected with the beautiful nature provided by the Earth. Sending you so much love. Thank you for all that you do. Karla xxxx

There's nothing crazy about it all. If you are willing to listen, you hear the spirits of the trees. They balance us, our energy. We are all one. Part of it is measurable. We all have an energetic field. It's measurable. We know how different frequencies interact with each other, they attune to each other. The most stable makes others rise or fall. The trees hold that frequency, like crystals to in all technology. If the trees fall, we fall.

I couldn’t even respond to this at first. I took my dogs for a walk and cried. I grew up in a forest and know it as family. I know your feelings about this all too well. My last house was the first in a neighborhood being built in a forest, so I had to hear the death of the trees all around as other houses were built. It was the most painful thing. I had to move from that house to have a place for my horses but sold to people I knew, so I thought what I had preserved in my space there was safe. I had to return to get mail not long after and was invited inside. When I looked out the back windows to the forest I had left standing as it was without touching it, I saw all the trees chopped off to stumps. They were clearing to put in a pool. I got sick. I left immediately and cried all the way home. Not long after, I went to a yoga retreat and in one of the meditations, she told us to enter and merge with our favorite tree. I knew exactly which one, one from my old house that had been like a wise teacher and a source of comfort for me. Even though she was now gone, I chose her. It took forever, but I was able to finally blend with her. I heard the most loving, older woman’s voice say to me, “Be to others what I have been to you.” Your videos are doing just that. You’re being this loving, wise, comforting presence in the world. You’re being the spirit of the forest. My heart is broken over the forests there. The picture of the sweet, wise beings piled and numbered was almost too much. I can imagine your pain. You’re doing such great work in sharing this message. Maybe the people who don’t understand our connection with the forest can have a glimpse into it’s spirit and presence by seeing the beautiful before pictures and the horrifying after pictures. I’m sending so much energy of healing for the place and for you. I hope more than anything that the wind farm doesn’t go through and that you have answers soon. Much love to you! Jonna, I am so very sorry to hear this news this really is so very sad. If there if one thing that is very evident in the time I have been watching your vlogs it's how you seem as one with the environment and nature around you. The places you show us are truly stunning and the thought of them being destroyed is heartbreaking. I'd like to ask if there is anything people outside of Sweden can do to try and help with this? Is there anyone we can contact or petition to ask them to reconsider destroying this beautiful place? I would me very happy to help. Finally, it is very clear how upsetting this is for you, especially given how long you have been facing this. While I know it is very hard right now please do not let it allow the light inside you to die. My thoughts are with you all.

I feel the same that maybe there could be something to do about this also outside of Sweden :) What could it be? To bring more awareness of these things around the world? To get connected? To get more connected with ourselves and with the light in us and let that light lead our way? To find the solutions together and concentrate on that? Letting all of our feelings be allowed and then letting go of anger and concentrate on building the new kind of world, together?

Geothermal energy needs a lot of electricity to run. At least 4KW for small house. To produce that electricity you need to burn coal, trees, diesel or have some wind energy which is so far the most efficient green energy.

I live in New Zealand we have greenpeace they try to fight . But now all the water is polluted from to many cows and deforestation. The people dont want any of it and its killing our land . My children cannot swim in the beaches and rivers our water is not safe to drink anymore without processing . I read all the comments and it seams we are all globaly mourning the loss of our land to big bussiness coperate interests that dont benifit the people or future generation's. The struggle is real !

But you don't seem to realize the direct connection to what you said and why all that happened- you said "my children cannot.." you seem to not realize that your children will each require a HOUSE made of wood, placed somewhere where there were trees, they will need food, water, clothing, produce sewage and garbage, their eating meat or using any animal based products requires more cows and animals to be bred, fed and put somewhere- that causes deforestation, water pollution and all the rest. You mention "corporate interests" but fail to appreciate the fact that businesses cant make money, and cant expand if people stop BUYING their products- YOU the buyer/consumer is who is causing those corporate interests to expand to fill your demands! If people put solar and wind producing equipment on their own roof and property, the corporation would not NEED 200 more wind turbines to produce you with electric!

@@HobbyOrganist also i think you should do some research into the dairy industry and educate yourself about the mass produced milk powder not dirven by demand but buy market fixing. They make 100 times more than the market demands and stock pile milk powder in huge warehouses in order to control the price buy flooding the market or holding back product. Sad thing is I think that they are letting to many fires get out of control for selfish reasons. 😪 They also want to push forest dwellers out and force everyone into designated and over populated areas where people just live on top of each other and there's so much land if we spread out. But big corporations are greedy.

It is 10.00pm here near Fraser Island where I now live. After 15 years on the island with off the grid living I hear you! When you live on this island there is no electricity or internet so you are in need to make your own power and apply for satellite telephone and TV. It appears very close to the mainland but you need to be ready to keep yourself supplied for everything including a good 4WD car to get on and off by barge. I also loved the lifestyle and was lucky to be employed and therefore very busy. I learned to fish and be ready to think outside the square and fix everything when it goes down. I found my art and myself, found what was important in life in friendships and family. Being off the grid brings you to reality of life. We need to be living our best in a place that brings us happiness and nature is the secret. Whether it is here or across the world where I grew up these feelings are the same. We have freedom and life is precious. I’m in my 70s now and still feel I have many years to live. I love your wonderful information from where you are and how you let us in your life. You have a very quiet and easy way of speaking to us all. Thank you for your energy and outlook in life and your world. It’s beautiful. And please keep up the fight. There are many agreeing with you.
