A Heritage House Gets a Modern Makeover

Жыл бұрынFor this makeover, Svetlana Tryaskina's goal was to create a refined, modern look that respected the heritage of the house. The designer added functionality throughout and updated rooms with colour and wallpaper to help keep the project on budget. When a total kitchen renovation was out of the question, Svetlana decided to work with the existing base cabinets and countertops, and brought in a new, understated backsplash and custom uppers painted in a fresh green.

Possibly my favorite space from this channel! would LOVE if my home looked like this. Love how the designer respected the ideas from the clients but pushed them a little bit to end up with an awesome result.

Great job on the kitchen - loved how she used the old lower cabinets and appliances but added new uppers. I do wish she hadn’t painted the wood out in the front hall!!
