The Brocken Railway in Germany's Harz Mountains offers steam engine tours to the top of the Brocken, the highest mountain in the Harz. The Brockenbahn, as it's also known, is a narrow-gauge railway that's been in operation since the late 19th century. The train travels through forests and heathlands to a granite plateau, offering views of Upper Harz National Park. Some say the experience is similar to a ride on the Hogwarts Express.
