A malayalee , who had schooling years ago around 1995 in TamilNadu(class 1 and 2) due to dad’s job posting there at that time. At that time this film was a rage,the thillana thillana song one. Meena looked like a goddess. I still remember the songs getting aired in Surya TV. Sitting miles away in Australia, looking at the Meena entry scene took me back to those days in Tamilnadu. Dad would be coming back from office, me watching TV after school , my baby brother who is only months old cooing by the side..

Honest a sollunga, was there a soul in the movie siva did rajini a huge anniyayam, padam was horrible Keerthi, rajini looked like father , daughter No chemistry between them Nayanthara had no combination scenes with the cast , more like a cameo Sentiment was forced Rajini sleep walked through the role D. Iman’s BGM in the second half reminded one of MSV ‘s nerve racking BGM from 70 s ( sad version of the family song ) in a loop Satish , Suri, Livingston , pandiyarajan- all comedians had no scope , no lines Siva was the sole reason for the flop

Thalaivar asked Siva for a rural film and asked for a story in 14 days. While shooting, there was covid, Thalaivar's politics hiccups. Siva had to compromise on content, story and making. Result was a disaster. All these contributed to the movies failure...
