I'd estimate that at least 85% of ''jazz fans'' completely ignore the pre-bebop Blue Note records (and pre-bebop jazz music overall). Some don't even mention the BN records of Fats Navarro, Bud Powell, Howard McGhee and even the Monk and Miles albums. What's the reason for this .... are the majority of Blue Note diehards hard-bop only fanatics?
