My neighbors homeschool their 6 kids and they are the most innocent, loving, respectful, well behaved, well adjusted children I have ever met. Many days I wish they could take my daughter and homeschool her too 😭 they live such a peaceful life

Will they be adjusted to the society they live in?
@Chelle8847
@Chelle8847 Жыл бұрын
@@mz8194 I think they will be. Maybe even more than schooled kids. I know back when I was young, I went to church regularly, and there was a home school strict Christian family... They were incredibly sheltered, and i felt so sorry for them, especially the one girl, there was 4 or 5 boys I think. But, I would say that kind of sheltered, unrealistic life isn't beneficial at all. But this on the other hand, they seem well adjusted and I mean, they're on tiktok lol so...!

@@jf8200 Teachers are trained in classroom management and thats about it. I have a just a hs diploma and i taught all 5 of my kids to read fluently by age 3 1/2 and my oldest who is 12 is set to graduate highschool in 2 years.....it isnt rocket science sweetheart parents 100% can teach their children better than any teacher now a days with the resources we have because we actually care about our kids education we're not trying to pass them along to keep our paychecks

This family is sitting on a barrel of money. They're leaving that part out of the story. I can also see that these parents are very educated themselves. These kids will turn out better than 99% of homeschooled kids. What I have witnessed with my own two eyes is homeschooled boys becoming exceptionally good at video games. And homeschooled girls becoming pregnant waaaay before 18 years of age. Good luck You're gonna need it!

We are past our homeschooling days now, but it was absolutely the most intense and amazing thing we did. And that is saying something, as my oldest and i are converting an old dairy barn into a house. Homeschooling teaches you to love learning, to be confident in yourself and your abilities, and to learn something new each day! Can totally recommend 😊

@@jstravelers4094 I believe so! I have been both public schooled and homeschooled, one observation I have made is the confidence levels. Homeschoolers are more likely to be themselves rather than trying to stick to the status quo. When you try to be someone that you are not there are significant mental, emotional, and psychological negative effects. At the tender age of a child and a teenager the last thing that they need are these kinds of issues. Speaking as a 15 year old teenager myself that has been public schooled, this status quo and " popular girl" idea starts at a scarily young age. I saw this idea being pushed as young as 3rd grade. And these people who have spent most of their developmental years trying to "Fit in" normally don't ever truly grow out of it and it 100% affects their adult lives. We don't need 100 copy and pastes of the "popular girl" especially not in the world we live in today. We need independent intelligent people that public school doesn't provide enough of. Public schoolers spend most of their time worrying about their social lives and their "Friends" ( Which they might see maybe once in Walmart in their adult lives) instead of their education. Also their goals for life are either set extremely low ( McDonald's worker) or nearly unattainably high ( President of the USA) I AM NOT SAYING THAT PUBLIC SCHOOL IS BAD!!! And I am not saying that all public schoolers are dumb because I know some amazingly genius people who were public schooled, but you cannot reach goals that are set so high if your effort is so low. All people have amazing potential they just need to work for it and from what I see a lot of public schoolers don't. I hope this helps clear the air at least some. :)

As long as your teaching skills let the kids then continue their education according to what they want to do - way to go 👍 Would be really sad if the future surgeon suddenly realised they severely lacking in chemistry or biology and should have gone to a strong high school to get into a med school later. Not sure if that's true for your country but that's certainly true for the 3 countries I lived in. Unless you're a specialist in the field they require you would need to hire a tutor better than yourself to give them a proper level of education 🤷🏻‍♀️

I thank my parents every day for homeschooling me. Looking back, if I had been public schooled, I would’ve been bratty and disrespectful. Around my pre-teens and early teens, I followed my friends examples in everything. Thankfully, my parents made sure the kids I was around were good influences. Yes me and my 7 siblings grew up sheltered, but I never felt like I had trouble getting out there, confronting people and what not. I would really recommend it to parents. I have a much closer relationship with my parents than any of my public-schooled friends do. If you don’t think you’re capable of teaching them yourself, there’s also some great resources online you can use.

@krunner000

@@audrebates6255 Yes that is true. I was not implying that, I just know if I was not raised to show the utmost respect for the sacrifices my parents made to bring me up right, I’d have been one of those kids that shuns their parents because I thought they were overprotective hypocrites. My parents didn’t just talk about raising me different, they did do that. My mom sacrificed her dream career to be a stay-at-home mom instead of just sending me to public school. If she had “talked the talk” but just sent me to public school, I would have had significantly less respect for her.

@@krunner000 you'd still be you! I have two amazing adult children. One a doctor the other an accomplished climber and photographer. Both products of state school (and a not particularly good one) your parents would still have raised you to love and care for others. Sure you probably would have a bratty phase but that passes and the wonderful person you are shines through. As a family we have a deep respect for each other and our very different talents. I'm nowhere near as academic as either of my kids. I'm no slouch but I'm not on their level and my daughter in particular could not have got to where she is today (three degrees by age 24) had I home schooled.

Each time watching your kids play classical music I enjoy listening I see how mush they enjoy making music magical but that takes hard work and happy do it same for you parents. I so far hadn't seen people looking like your are kooky, getting off topic is that " neighbor" really a neighbor?

Haha the neighbor we borrowed from a TikTok about annoyed neighbors, but it was pretty perfect so we used him…😅
