Congratulations, right now you will see how I build a stone floor and a stove. On the floor I carried a stone from a stream and covered the walls with moss, and in the middle I laid everything with stone and earth, on top I laid the floor with stone on clay. I also made a table with a bench to rest on. Then he went to the stove and fried meat for dinner.

Вам может нужно крышу покрыть пока погода хорошая стоит. Будет удобнее потом работать да и можно спрятаться от дождя.

It looks great. Love the stone work with the sod mortar. I've not seen that done before. I know the Scandinavians use moss in the same way for insulation and the Celts use sod on their roof's beneath the thatch and your attention to function form and practicality is obvious. Keep up the good work. Post some more stuff bro it's good.

Sod was the primary building material for the early pioneers on the prairies in Canada....no trees for hundreds of miles. They call them 'Soddies'

I’ve heard on multiple bushcraft channels the debate about using river rocks for fireplaces regarding the stones exploding from the heat & evaporation. I’m still trying to decipher the facts about that. What is your opinion? LOVE the floor!
