throne of glass is one of my favourite series, and there are a lot of opinions on what is the first book to read but to me yes, the assassin's blade is the first one to read 💚

Throne of Glass: there’s two ways you can read the series and I’m currently reading them right now for the first time so I can’t say which way is better but… I started with The Assassin’s Blade, then Throne of Glass, Crown of Midnight… If I started with Throne of Glass I think I would’ve been so bored, but with Assassin’s Blade (it’s the prequel but was written after the series was completed) you get the background and you feel her pain on another level because you feel like you lived through it with her, not just reading about it, you know? I suggest you research the two reading orders and make the decision for yourself 🫶🏼

I'm now reading heir of fire(3rd) and am glad that I have read assasin's blade first! There are references in every book so far that I get because I read assasin's blade first!
