If this is true this woman is very rich at the moment. The color is very rare where in the world u can easily find pearl as many as that. Considering the place isn' t remote and by the look of it, its just an ordinary canal frequented by people.

It could be fake because pearls do not naturally come that colour - pearls are the colour of the nacre (nacre is the shiny coating inside the shell) - the Queen Conch of the Caribbean produces pearls and because the inside of the shell is pink - so are the pearls. The Tahitian oyster has a greying dark nacre and so it create grey to black pearls naturally.
