it would be cool to see how major/fan-favorite npcs recreated in the skyrim engine look and how they'd look in-game. i think you may have done that before, and we've of course seen the legendary adoring fan already, but itd be really cool to see some more! the characters and npcs are my favorite part of oblivion and a little sneak peak to how some look in skyblivion would be awesome, still leave most as a surprise though of course ;)

"We are finally seeing the end of the road." Hearing that made me tear up. I've enjoyed Oblivion for a grand total of 16 years now. the passion in this project really gives me a new standard for game dev updates. the first time I seen oblivion I was 11. it was in Game Informer Magazine Issue 138. In one of the articles pictures it showed one of Cheydinhal's dinner tables with all the plates, silverware and food on it. it said below the picture that every item on the table could be interacted with, picked up, moved. and that absolutely blew my 11 year old mind. because of that I asked my grandparents for a pc, an old E-machine we got at Target with onboard graphics. now I'm 27, just got a 3080ti so I could specifically play Skyrim with 700 mods at 4k. oblivion sent me down a long and enjoyable road to gaming. and you can bet I'm ready to do it all again.

Also what I think happens when Yahweh gives people talent and a good heart. Come to think about it, kinda glad there's only one God in life who could touch your soul, and when you get to know him, he's a pretty merciful and loving God. Not like in Elder Scrolls where you got several Daedric princes where all it takes is an arrow to your neck and you're in hell.

This overhaul of a project is like, "Bluepoint Games' take on Demon's Souls" level of quality. The attention to detail and absolute love and passion is so evident in every facet that's been shown. It's no exaggeration when i say this release is something that i have been the most excited about, for years.
@matthewcullen3486

I agree. Except the scope of this is a hundred times wider due to the nature of this type of game (which is why this type of game is rare). So it's like many bluepoint projects over about 10 years. Only thet are doing it for free. I would feel very strange of these developers worked anywhere else other than Bethesda in the long run.
@camd4648
@camd4648 2 жыл бұрын
@@matthewcullen3486 Unfortunately, I don't think putting this kind of talent in the hands of Bethesda is a good idea(because it would degrade their talents, into something less than stellar when they are forced to cut corners to rush a game to production.), however, this team should start their own independent project after Skyblivion, and could probably get loads of investors due to the quality of their work on this project.

I played the first ping-pong tennis when it came out,aged 12-ish.I programmed the sinclair and bought the Atari console upon release.I learned programming,bought the Atari 512K,still play the games on an EMU.Played so many games on so many platforms,I am kinda glad I just have my pc and mod Oblviion and Skyrim now. Oblivion is just one of those games that is different,for me it has the same replay value as Heroes of might and Magic 3&4,Command and Conquer,or a really REALLY old couplet from Amiga, Heroquest,and my favourite game of all,Captive. What you are doing here is quite simply stunning.A true labour of love.And by God it is appreciated by us mortals.I haven't been this excited about a game since Oblivion itself came out. Kudos to all who have taken part in this madness.I salute you.May all your camels be well humped. I have a question about immersion.I suspect it is not everyone's cup of tea. Two qualities in my view have raised the immersive quality of my game beyond any other,and yet both so simple. First,immersive interiors,very clever mod which with all natural weather allowed you to see out ot the windows.Such an exquisite addition to Oblivion,and now Skyrim. Second,Illuminated windows,updated to AWLS,but the original had a randomness to the windows which somehow gave a real boost to the immersion,as if individuals were wandering around turning lights on and off.Again,exquisite,very simple and superior to later mods which blanket switched everything,instantly ruining all immersion. My question is,will either,if any,be employed in skyblivion?A lot to expect I know but I believe intensely in the immersive qualities of these 2 very simple concepts. Also,as I was watching the video it came to mind to wonder if you were going to give the NPC's daily routines that we can see being carried out such as say puchasing items?I have no idea if that is even viable,just thinking out loud. I will leave you with a latin phrase which was the closest that could be made,if you can work out it's equivalent well known movie phrase,you deserve a medal. Perge scelus et diem perficias.
