A Is for Atom is 1953 animated short created by John Sutherland and sponsored by General Electric (GE). The animation shows what an Atom is, how nuclear energy is released from atoms and the peacetime uses of nuclear power. Dave & Gareth sit down on Trash Toon's to show us some uncomfortable animations in the public domain.

I think my favourite part of this is that Dave is wearing the exact same shirt that my dad says is his favourite shirt - which he got at a GNR concert a few years ago in Minneapolis. Legends recognise legends~!

Hey guys, awesome work! If you want the 'A for Atom' video material to look better (especially with camera movement) you can conform that material with the deinterlacing setting switched from odd to even (or vice versa).

If you ever want to do a long-form version of these shorts, try and get hold of the pilot episode of Rocket Robin Hood. As shitty as the show itself was, the pilot was even shittier and had disturbing racist overtones.
