Weirdly enough, I was being reminded earlier today about how my mom's favorite pastime as a child was to stick solid metal butter knives into outlets and watch the electricity course through her skin. It never killed her... But she said she loved how it felt 👀🤷🏽 It occurred to me today that that exposure while still in her ovary as an egg built up my connection to electricity. My great grandmother was once struck by lightening while sitting on the toilet... When I was a kid, I asked her about the faint scar on her knee. She told the story like it was a ride at an amusement park but also was always cautious about lightning safety. I remember feeling that same way after flipping my mom's car at 18: if it weren't so dangerous, I would have loved to experience that "ride" again and again...
