I think that loop would look better if you gave it a slight bend just removing the wire from the tool. It would make the loop centered and very professional looking. All in all a very nice tool.

why would I want to do a lot of loops? can you give examples of where a model railroader would need such a tool?

I bought one,broken when I got it never worked, I will stay with real tools,
