I've encountered Jinns three times, the first encounter when i walk with my friends on a lonely streets at night, the apperance of this jinn are faceless bald woman carrying chair. the second encounter when i walk after salah with my friends, we seeing strange smoke-like substance, those smokes like have some control of it direction and the color is white, the third encounter when i fall asleep, many people would consider this as sleep paralysis but its different, its so real, like ive been hugged by someone, this one who hug me does not have genitals and skinny.

An American atheist wouldn't choose to ask to Allah for help, especially when the mind is drawing a blank, unless Allah choose to guide her. In another note, the bad rep has enormous benefits to spread Islam too. Yes we'd rather have a "good rep" but don't discount the power of Streisand Effect.

My aunt graduate from university in Malaysia and she said they were almost always engaging sihr due to different reason. This is how it ends i guess. When she was there reading, she was complaining on the phone that doors were closed even there was no wind or a glass staying on counter was popping up on the tale next to her etc. ☹️

The way you describe it, seem just like a random "sightings". Pet Jinns here (like, kept by family) dont really disturb people, unless people come to the family private property with bad intention to cause harm. If it's the naughty and stupid jinn, it may disturb family member, but more like trying to get their attention, like a pet dog. For jinns kept by black magic people, well, that's a different thing.. imagine SWAT team K9 dogs sent to maul your sanity, except that it's a jinn. In dormitories, moving doors, and moving cups, well... that's small thing. Try this: moving chair, or light switch flipping on-off again and again on it's own.
