In my own journey, I have experienced so much of what he is speaking. I am identifying my perspective versus reality and becoming self aware; physically, emotionally and energetically. I watched this video at the perfect time and appreciate the messages he has eloquently shared to inspire growth throughout our population. We are truly in a fortunate time to have someone be able to proliferate such understanding to so many people. Even if the message is not absorbed or understood upon initially hearing it, the seed has been planted. What's beautiful about the universe is that it provides us with that which we need to nourish that growth...oft-times without our even being conscious of it. And oh!...with consciousness comes such intensified growth than that which happens without. Enjoy where you are now and welcome the growth occurring of which you may not even yet be aware.

Deepak mentioned in one of his speeches quoting what Nelson Mandela said "Resentment is like drinking poison and thinking our enemy will die" Likewise people who hate or dislike what Deepak is saying does not effect anyone in anyway except themselves who are creating a negative environment around themselves with hatred.

Deepak Chopra does not know Sanskrit. So the question of his having the knowledge of Vedas and upanishads is uestionable. How he could write so many books and hoodwink so many Americans is well known to those of us who come from four generations of university faculty at MIT. His knowledge is mostly from Jiddi Krishnamurthi.

TheScholar04 Hey! It's in his DNA but that's on the physical level also. You can't LEARN the truth in the Vedas. The spirit will demonstrate the TRUTH through you. Your ego is bristling at the idea of someone being looked to as an expert. Go beyond the little ego and celebrate the TRUTH that never has a diploma of any kind.

TheScholar04 In philosophy he is very much like Krishnamurti, who was a colleague; Deepak has expanded and explained Krishnamurti for those who would never seek out or listen to J. Krishnamurti. They are very different men on the surface. As Deepak said here, knowledge/consciousness is building and expanding. When I first heard/met Krishnamurti via KZfaq I felt I was looking at myself, my own heart and soul, at last, someone like me! Which certainly proves you do not need to be a Harvard or MIT grad to comprehend enlightenment or contribute to this wonderful expansion. I was "hoodwinked" by Krishnamurti before I was "hoodwinked" by Deepak Chopra. wink, wink. There is depth in this video that speaks uniquely to each individual who listens. It speaks in validation and expansion; these are the languages of love and truth and beauty.

We have just made a quantum leap into the understanding of our being, that's why we are seeing this. those who get it, simply do. if you don't you are just a bit late in tuning in to your scenes, but you know its all there. Judge not, just observe. Deepak Chopra is one of our light on the journey.

You might not like to learn that, in fact, a 'quantum leap' is the smallest leap possible for a sub-atomic particle. There is no kinda jump possible that is smaller. But then, you'll argue that Copraphile is using science in a 'poetic' way. LOL

I love Deepak Chopra simply for being the person he is , though I don't know him personally but feel great affinity for him for his work is so empowering..though initially it wasn't easy to follow his words for he is so highly evolved and also he has scientific background being a doctor but now I don't take his words intellectually , it simply fits in my system and I feel empowered ... Our soul creates circumstances to connect to knowledge or person spreading that knowledge which we have to learn at that moment... So here comes Deepak Chopra ....long live Deepal Chopra. Namaste .

You are "GODLIKE " ,one of THE GREATEST INDIANS and you deserve a BHARAT RATNA AND A NOBEL. .... OM. .

Thank You Deepak! This is a very profound video for people to watch to understand the basis of their self awareness. My shift in awareness came after practicing yoga. Just practising the Asanas. To become aware of my body in an experiental way and not only by studying biology in a classroom. Yoga is an experiental knowledge which enhances ones awareness and therefore makes it possible to keep oneself healthy in any aspect of life. For me it has done wonders!

Grateful appreciation for this particular video! Very satisfying that here the interviewer is 'up to speed' in the wisdom literature, so the conversation can proceed in a precise and illuminating way, rather than Deepak trying to explain basic first principles. Interviewer is a bright spark herself; and a great current of energy, love and understanding between the two. One question remains, more on the 'worldly' level, which D himself rather skirted around. The source of religion is a genuine transcendent experience, which we then surround and weigh down with dogma. The 'why'of that is fairy easy to see, in that the intermediaries accrue power, money and influence, hence established churches of every persuasion. The question is, why do we all not only allow, but enable and encourage this? When we all actually 'know' at the level of truth. This produces much problematical behaviour and feeling in the word, as we can see. The other issue in this video is almost an embarrassment of it s own success; When experiencing such a high-level conversation, it seems almost painfully simple for the human race to achieve its true potential, and obvious how to do it. What are we waiting for? Namaste and all loving intention!

Deepak Chopra does not know Sanskrit being from a Punjabi family. His books are borrowed from Maharshi Yogi and others. Read books by Jiddi Krishnamurthi you will see much of what he says about thoughts taking over us. According to Ptolemy Tompkins, the medical and scientific communities' opinion of him ranges from dismissive to damning; criticism includes claims that his approach could lure sick people away from effective treatments.[87]

Clayton i have been following him for years. He is spiritually and phyisicalogidly sound. Why would anyone want to chalenge chuch kind wisdom. He is not claiming to be a guru he is a preventive medicine doctor - he understands the conscious state of being is the only state of being. There is another good teacher and Dr Chopra spoke about him on this doc. J. Krishnamurti - check out his foundation in Oha California, (i'm not sure how to spell that name), You can hear his lectures on KZfaq.

Also, if interested, Anwar, Lee Smolin of the Perimeter Institute in Canada has a lot to say about the multiverse following Darwinian Evolutionary principles via the mechanism of black holes. Although he does not speak of cosmic intelligence, Platonic ideas and thought, nor of consciousness, one must not shy away from investigating his theory in this light. Thank you. I appreciate your openness. And yes, I realize the Robert Lanza's theory is just that, at theory.

***** To be very honest, i don't understand this poetic language of 'ranbows'. I am a student of science/logic. Anything which distorts that is liable to be criticized/scrutinized. Quantum mechanics (for that matter any scientific theory) is not dependent on any person for its interpretation. it is what it is. So, if Deepak chopra has some concepts which he feels are right, he can coin a new term for his own theory, but he cannot simply push all his views across under the garb of quantum theory.

Actually, the field of quantum biology stated 50 years ago, exactly. Progress in this field will surely parallel, if not supersede research in quantum computing. Read or listen to Seth Lloyd's description (director of MIT's Quantum Computing Lab) about the universe being both intelligent and consciousness. This does come out of quantum mechanics when applied to his field. The same goes with David Deutsch, director of Oxford's quantum computing lab. Look into Robert Lanza's Biocentric universe.

A month ago I would never had given him the time, but I have and it’s not all completely crazy... I had to forget stigmatization, and listened with an open mind it’s the only way especially NOW. But not COMPLETELY crazy. You have to get out of the box, not just think outside of it...

Either you are missing my point or deliberately evading it. Despite these gurus, spiritualism, all powerful deities on our side and the rosy, albeit dubious, economy that you have just painted they all came- greeks, huns, kushans, saks, turks and britishers and they butchered us, looted us and ultimately enslaved us and those who were, lucky for them, devoid of these have come all the way to be there to give us alms in billions of dollars. Anyway thanks for teaching me history dear; I love it.

You should watch his debates with Michael Shermer and Sam Harris. I didn't see them ''DESTROY'' any of his claims. Go ahead and ignore my suggestion but you shouldn't go around insulting people just because they don't believe what you believe.

So trade deficit is alms per you? You mean India need never pay it back? Do you what is US' debt? Will it be ever able to pay it back? What about UK's debt or Spain or Ireland or Greece. Do they have the ability to pay it? Greeks were defeated and all that hocus pocus story of Alexander pardoning King Puru is just that. First Islamic invasion was in AD 715. It took them 500 years to get a foothold in Delhi. Even then they never controlled whole of India. 1/1
