HeartGold & SoulSilver were released on September 12th, 2009. I was 9 years old and very familiar with Hoenn & Sinnoh, and Kanto to an extent. But, like many other children my age, these games would be my first time experiencing the Johto Region. My mom brought me into GameStop on release day and bought me the game for $39.99, as a very early Christmas present. I had no idea at the time how immersive this game truly was. I trained up my Pokémon, brought them to school with the PokéWalker, and made friends with the other kids were just as obsessed as I was with the game.
After months of dedication, in collaboration with a long list of talented artists, I'm excited & honored to take you on "A Journey Through the Johto Region".

I'm so in love with this album, I've been listening to it non-stop, it has such love and attention to detail for the game. I really really love the little snippets where the reporters and radio stations talk. Love the work a lot can't wait for another release!!!

All songs were mixed & mastered in Ableton Live 11 but since there's over 20 artists involved, this entire project probably used every single DAW on the market at some point hahaha You could make something like this using: - Logic - FL Studios - Ableton - that was cube daw You could even use garage band to make this haha, it's all about the artist, the daw doesn't truly matter too much
