I think I'd prefer their hi-life for that usage. But it is neat to see them really working on the rec boat designs, rather than just make the same old thing.

If you have a dog this is perfect. If you have a kid and get them a set of flippers, they can actually help propel the boat

@@keithmoriyama5421 I have a dog and she doesn't go crazy, she rides on the stern. I have the back deck covered in neoprene. Speaking from experience here

This type of kayak is popular in Fl. The Fl Keys with warm blue water is perfect for a kayak like this. For those that want to paddle and chat and chat some more...we'll get there. I think it may inspire thoughts of vacation or just getting out on the water...but with nowhere in particular to go.

I would have guessed that the saltwater crocs and bull sharks would be a reason not to dangle your feet.

@@wisenber I've seen kayak outfitters operate for years. Very rarely is there an issue. American saltwater crocs are not like the Aussies...they behave more like alligators. They are not known for attacking or approaching people. Gulf of Mexico is where the bull sharks seem to hang out.

Great review buddy 🤙🏼 I would be worried in the rivers only because of how pointy the front is. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I hit rocks all the time. Kayaks are the perception access 9.5 for rivers n swimming and the perception access 11.5 for the lake and fishing. I did a compare video and a river trip video. In Western North Carolina

I’d like to see someone transition from the main seat to the lounge seat while out on the water. That doesn’t seem easy

Nope... not an easy thing to do. It's doable if you're nimble, and you don't want to go to shore or hop out of the kayak.

I wish there was an easy way for this kayak. In fact... every kayak should have an integrated mount. @@PaddleTV that's exactly what I bought! What do you clamp it to? I clamped it to the side of my seat back. I also, bought a motor mount (not using it for that) which sticks in my front scupper holes. It is basically a removable track mount. I didn't want to commit to drilling holes in my kayak yet. a.co/d/eA0Brcs.

I will have to argue that Perception doesn't make comfortable seats at all. I bought a Perception tandem kayak it comes with the worst excuse for seats.
