Жыл бұрынThe Freya65 is a keyboard made of glass, its the older brother to the Baldr. It had a few new things I loved, bring the silicone standoffs and o-ring mounted keyboard! One thing I wish the board had was a daughter board. It sounds and feels AMAZING and looks really cool. It's not everyday you get a glass keyboard that sounds good, its also not something I thought would be good.
Some issues I faced were the PCB sat higher than Id like, and was also VERY hard to remove. Some good news is this is also being changed in the final copy. It'll be sitting lower and easier to remove. Another change is the PCB art will be on the bottom instead of the top, which is a good move on their part.

The silicones stoppers are a great way to reduce machining inside of metal cases and a great way to not have to have cutouts on the pcb. They are kinda revolutionary. Great solution to the glass case and a good future improvement for other cnc cases that are gummy o-ring

Best keyboard channel I've found so far, I watch a lot of keyboard channels and I like this format the best. The other ones I have seen have been more involved with comedy which is great too. But I like the relaxing format that you do with these videos

All my knowledge comes from God of War 2016, but could be the World Eating Serpent from Norse mythology because Helheim is a world in Norse mythology.

@@zatorith. This is true as well. Jörmungandr is considered the Norse rendition of Ouroboros, however, I believe the Norse have a different understanding of the concept given that Jörmungandr is considered one of the three children of Loki and Angrboda. The most understood interpretation of Ouroboros is the eternal cycle of life (i.e birth, life, death, and rebirth).

Oh no hot swap option? Could you put in another Hotswap PCB from kbdfans and would it work?

It should work with any universal 65% pcb that has a left aligned USB C, i cant make any promises though! You also wouldnt be able to use the silicone standoffs 100% in, but you can have them rest on it

oring mounts have issues with hotswap. switches like to pop out of the corners if you try to remove keycaps due to the tension of the orings
