A Kodak Christmas (feat. Leica M6)

Күн бұрынAfter a fiasco of accidentally deleting valuable footage, misplacing film, and not finishing a vital 35mm roll, A Kodak Christmas was born...straight out the inspiration station of grainydays. I shot with two Leica M6's for this holiday season. I mainly used Kodak color films like Portra 400, Tri-X, and Cinestill 800T, which is technically Kodak motion picture film.
I sort of incorporated some street and documentary photography skills to get some of these photos, but honestly, most of it was just using a flash in people's faces.

This video IMO perfectly sums up why I love photography so much. Capturing memories of family and friends that might not mean that much atm. When you eventually look back at them even a few years from now they will hold a lot of weight. Killer video as always Chris.

Nice video, I really like "life's happening" shots, you really nailed it. Also funny to realize the eternal curse of photographers, they're not on any cool pictures, maybe selfies in the mirrors with the whole camera - like Facebook profiles in the good old days - 😂

This is such a nice idea i should definitely document my Christmas with film. Around Christmas time i always forget to pick up my film because its always so busy.

I haven't seen any other videos of yours and I don't know if this is generally the way you talk but in what world is 0:43 considered funny or a cool thing to say to your viewers? Wtf is with that intro? The whole experience was ruined after that.
