Sasha was a kidnapper at one time, too, but it seems like after she had Jessie, she changed her ways. Same thing happened with DeeDee after she had Delana. 🙂

Most primate experts chalk it up as it is all a part of their grieving process. To some, it almost looks like they aren't quite sure..like, they maybe don't understand that death is final (it might wake up again eventually, so they are afraid to leave it.) Another (really gross) theory, is that they keep it around long enough, so they get to eat all of the insects it attracts. I guess us humans can speculate all we want, but honestly, we will never really know. (unless we come back in our next life as a monkey! lol)
