This movie is a great non-superhero (kinda) comic adaptation. I’ve gone through varying opinions of this movie as I aged. Currently I’m back around to loving this movie on a pure direction standpoint. This movie really broke Edgar Wright out in North America and it’s gotten him a lot of opportunities to make good movies. Also I love how you drew the some of the characters of the film in their comic book appropriate style.

I think the blending of the film between comic book, super hero, video game, etc. really is what makes it feel so energized. This really put Edgar Wright on the map for me but also just shows that movies can just be a whole lot of fun to make. The comic style is so distinctive I like throwing it in when I can!

Hey, not sure if you are still reading comments here. But, the light switch at 6:25 is supposedly symbolism for how Scott is not in the same league as Ramona Flowers. She's way more amazing than anyone at the party. She is "out-of reach," so to speak. This is directly emphasized with a montage of the rumors everyone hears about her. Anyway, great video!

I kinda love that every person in the movie is terrible (except nega Scott), also fun thing to notice that every time Ramona gets a new boyfriend he dyes her hair differently. Purple from the last bf, blue with Scott and green with Gideon

I think adding that everyone is messy adds to the overall feeling of how difficult relationships can be. All the little details are so fun to notice!

Thanks so much! Unfortunately youtube is pretty strict with using clips for copyright, so we usually have to keep it pretty short to not get a claim on the video. I wish I could have more freedom with the editing too, but we do what we can
