The MOMENTS, Legendary Japanese A Cappella DooWop Vocal Group, performing in the T.V.show on March 2, 2002. Very RARE !!!
Lead vocal is my friend Mr.NIHEI. We hope you to enjoy their harmony !!!

71 here, used to sing on the streets of the South Bronx where we sang not only regular doo wop but spanish doo wop like You Me Pregunto a spanish doo wop sung by white guys who thought it just sounded cooler in spanish

Japan always has GREAT TASTE IN ALL KINDS OF MUSIC. ONE OF MY FAVORITE SINGERS. KYLE VINCENT IS AN ICON OVER THERE. HE SHOULD BE A SUPERSTAR IN THE USA. HE HAS SUNG WITH BO DONALDSON & THE HEYWOODS.

Im 28 years old i didnt discover this type of music until i was 11 and i love it right away. Since i was 11 i really love 1950's and 1960's Rock and Roll and Doo woop

Very, very credible - and enjoyable! They're really got the sound down. If you like this, I suggest checking out The Oh! Sharels, "Chapel of Dreams" (see if you can find the video of them singing it beside the water).

Japan has a lot of doo-wop lovers.In fact, one of NYC`s oldest record shops sold it's entire inventory of 1 million records (45's ) to a Japanese collector for one dollar per record. I know because I had called the owner to place an order and he told me he was going into retirement, with the money from the deal.He told me some of the records could command much more $ from other collectors, but he wanted a quick turn-around deal.Unreal!

There was another Japanese group a few years back called the King tones (if I remember correctly). Ronnie I reissued their lps.They were pretty good.Don't know the year they originally recorded.These guys are cool also.

Saw the original Japanese doo wop group, THE CHANELS, perform at The Whiskey in blackface back in the 70's. Can't imagine ANYONE doing anything like that now.
