The ""academia"" itself concept is a variety of aesthetics mainly focus in old european collages from this you can get many type of variation depending on the characters and/or the ambientation, as far as i know ; 1. Dark academia, for those that prefer rainy or colder weathers, dark enviroments, mystery and all those things you can find on harry potter or dead poetry society, characthers are like ravencrows or slythering 2. Light academia, usually you'd find a more-greek-like style, it's brigther, focused in sunsets or middays were you can feel the sunshine touching gently your hands, thing about pride and prejudice (the 2005's movie) There is also, variants as chaotic academia which is similar to light academia but rather to focuse in a pompous exaltation to delicate and sofiscated things you'd have messy but-still-clever characters joking around (the marauders are a good reference) another variant it's green academia which mix light academia and cottage core, romantic academia (Dorian gray's movie for reference) and also cryptid academia (yup, something like gravity falls but taking place in some old britanic collage) I hope not to be tedious on my explanation, Feel free to correct me if I commited any mistake as English isn't my mother language.
