@@topgeardel Hahaha. I like that. But then the warthog must also be fully herbivorous, because as an omnivore it feeds on young antelopes, the chicks of ground-dwelling birds, their eggs, etc. Infact number for number I believe it can destroy more lives in one sitting than a lion. Lions need a good meal atleast once a weak. A warthog which happened to sniff out the chicks of a ground-dwelling bird is going to wipe them out. But I share your feeling. It is hard watching those animals die at the jaws of a predator.

The lioness did not deliberately bite the skull, it was the first part of the warthog that was available for a grip. The lioness was waiting for a chance to shift for a throat grip and meanwhile the warthog was playing posum to make a dash when the lion changes her grip.

Looking at how lean that lioness is, I think it was a good move killing the warthog trapped inside the hole. Outside the hole I believe the warthog would be either too strong for the already underfed lioness, or even outrun the lioness, esp if the lioness' condition owed to disease or injury, which might also be the case.

Mani C doesn’t have anything to do with my question. My question has to do with the health of an endangered species and more importantly the health of the park they live in. If all the lions are skinny, it is a very big problem for the park as it would not be sustaining even a minimum environment for carnivores to survive. And of course they are dangerous. They are carnivores in the wild. They need food to eat.,

In dry season, when most of the animals move far away in search of green glass, lions spend weeks or even months without food until the rains come. This is the reason why they are skinny. They will build up their bodies during the rain season when animals they hunt come back in the area.

This video has been edited a few times in the video. Also in the end it seemed like the Warthog was almost dead. Definitely the Lioness was battling the Warthog a very long time. And this Warthog has a good size pair of tusks, so whose blood is on the Lioness face, I would bet have the blood is the Lioness' blood as the Warthog must have cut the Lioness' face in multiple place. Sad the Video was not of full duration, and what happened later.
@user-vk2sd5qb1g5 жыл бұрын
Raymond Quadros: uh.. the lioness is bloody from tearing at the hogs skin. It pulled the hog out with its teeth so yeah.. it's gonna get bloody.. especially with the hog resisting so the lioness had to use more force while the hog of course was pulling back in the opposite direction.
