Your fans can wait. i can think of several things this might be but it is hardly the time to self diagnose yourself. I had gallstones (gallbladder) that caused pancreatitis in Easter 2016. Terrible pain over a week. It got so bad I rushed to The VA Medical Center (military veterans hospital 🇺🇸) where the next day they removed the gallbladder (and gallstones). I was on antibiotics for a week and pain killers. I went home after 2 days. It took a month before I was back to normal. I never vomited at any time but the pain was severe before the Endoscopy and removal of the gallbladder. I never had to wait in the ER (emergency room) but was immediately brought up to hospital bed and taken care of. The U.S. Veterans Hospital (serving military veterans and families) saved my life as I had a systemic infection , too Portland Oregon USA 🇺🇸

Marie, C’est moi qui est un vieillard, 65 ans. 🤓. Au lieu d’être comme la cadette de mes sœurs, tu es plutôt comme la fille de ma nièce, à cause de mon âge. Je crois que tu fais ce que conseillent les médecins, et c’est bon à mon avis. Continue à prendre bien soin de toi. Aujourd’hui est un jour de congé pour moi, (a day off). Je viens d’arriver à un grand centre commercial qui s’appelle “The American Dream”. C’est énorme, juste à l’ouest ou tu étais à Times Square, New York, mais en New Jersey. Il y a des grands magasins, une grande piscine, une colline pour faire du ski (dedans le centre, pas en pleine aire)! Il y a aussi une montagnes russes dedans pour les jeunes, et une grande roue dehors. Il y a aussi ce qu’on appelle en anglais “a food court”, c’est à dire un groupe de restaurants “fast food”, tous ensemble dans une section du centre. J’aime les centres commerciaux pour marcher à pied pour la santé, et pour dîner avant de rentrer chez-moi. Ne fais pas trop. Repose-toi, et n’oublie pas que les médecins savent mieux la voie à la bonne santé. Je sais bien que c’est toi seul qui as le droit de prendre les décisions médicales, mais comme ta famille et tes abonnés, je veux que tu soies (?) de très bonne santé, le plus vite possible. I would definitely stay in France where you have the Single Payer Healthcare while this is going on. We have excellent doctors here in the USA but of course, it is not free to the consumer under our system. My gallbladder failed right about seven years ago, on February 14th. A gallstone blocked my pancreas and caused pancreatitis, so I had those abdominal pains - felt like someone stabbing me in the back while being punched in the stomach. My uncle lived nearby, so I went to his house, and he drove me to the nearby clinic. They did a urine test and a blood test, and told me to go to the hospital. We went to the hospital, and by the time I finished the paperwork (30 minutes), I was in the back being examined by a couple of doctors. About three hours after going to my uncle's house, the doctors had diagnosed the gallbladder failure and the pancreatitis, and put me in a private room on a liquid diet to stabilize. On the third day, I was meeting the surgeon, and she did mention that it was possible I could wait a bit for the surgery if I avoided fats in my diet, so I went home (I had _just_ started a new job two weeks before, and my insurance hadn't started yet). A few weeks later, and I hadn't been very good about avoiding fats. I went to work doubled over in pain, and they called an ambulance. Immediately assigned a room to stabilize on a liquid diet, and midnight surgery. (I think they said the "number" on my pancreas was a little over 6,000?) I was released from the hospital the next afternoon. I took two days off to heal because I had a very physical job lifting heavy boxes. One of my coworkers welcomed me back by tossing me a 50lb (23 kg) box. Hit me right on my surgery scars, of course.

Hey, Marie ! Glad you're recovering from what must have been a harrowing experience. At least it didn't happen while you were in the U.S. I've read that it's helpful to your pancreatic function to have something w/ lemon, like lemonade, when you are eating fattier-than-usual stuff (like "fast-food".) Your comment about how you couldn't walk straight reminded me of an old funny song by the Smothers Brothers called "Crabs Walk Sideways ( & Lobsters Walk Straight") about a relationship between Hermann ( a lobster) & his "girlfriend" Sally ( a crab ) & the issues that their different gaits were causing them. Good for a laugh, if you should feel a need for such a thing ( may be contra-indicated until your digestive "situation" further improves). I am praying for you recovery, Marie. All of your fans love you. From your description of symptoms I would have suspected pancreatitis right off. I have had biliary pancreatitis twice, triggered by gall stones that blocked the bile duct through that organ and allowed bacteria from the colon to infect the organ. That's how I recognized the symptoms. I prescribe antibiotics for any infection and mom's loving cooking. Stay away from too much animal fat until you recover, and no sugar or carbs.

Don't worry about having to delay the videos, you have been sick and need to get well. The pancreas makes the insulin in your body and it sometimes gets irritated. I will be praying that they can treat it and make you well. Please, take care of yourself. We all love you, you are a very sweet young lady and we worry about you.

First minute of the description of the pain and I immediately thought either pancreatitis or gall stones. Both are absolutely excruciating (suffered both), will cause vomiting, and there is no body position or remedy you can do to make the pain go away other than to withstand the waves of pain and contractions. Many women who have had either one say its worse than childbirth. Hope your health improves and things are on the upswing.

I hope you feel better soon Marie. My wife had this problem as well, but it turned out to be a problem with her gall bladder. Once this was diagnosed, treatment was relatively simple and she has not had an episode since. Maybe all the rich USA and Canada food had a delayed reaction for you.

I had pancreatitis in 1986 at 26, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes then. It is really rough, take care of yourself. By the why, we wait many hours in Emergency and to get into s hospital room here in the States as well.

I'm really sorry you went through this. I've never had pancreatitis, but I understand it's one of the most painful conditions. I'm not a doctor, but I suspected pancreatitis from the beginning of your story. There aren't many things that can cause that much pain so suddenly. The reason they're telling you not to eat fats is that the bile duct goes through the pancreas. When the pancreas is inflamed, it can block the bile duct, which carries bile from the liver to the digestive system. Bile is necessary for proper digestion of fats. I hope they at least gave you IV fluids when you were in the ER. You can easily get dehydrated from that much vomiting. I'm keeping my finger crossed for your continued improvement, and a full resolution with no complications. I'm sure everyone else here is doing the same thing. Please don't worry about disappointing us by not posting videos on your usual schedule. Your health is the most important thing.

Marie, It is very good to hear your health has shown some improvement, but please do whatever your doctors believe is necessary to get well. None of this is your fault, but it’s very important to follow what the doctors tell you is necessary. In other words, don’t just expect to feel better because of the passage of time alone. My advise, in short, is please trust your doctors and do what they advise. I only say this because you are still very young, and we all want you to live a long, healthy, and happy life for many, many more years to come.
