Bernardette Peters is very underrated. She's fantastic and si versatile!

Adore this revival, but the scaled down orchestra really shows in some songs. That said, Peters and Stritch were excellent in this production

Splendid production, and having miss Peters walking right up to the edge of the stage and looking me straight in the eye - instant Sondheim/Peters heaven. The whole cast was wonderful, and Miss Stritch indeed having some memory lapses in Liaisons - actually it was so apt to the song, and being the trooper she was it didn't faze her one bit (nor did it present any problem for the conductor as more than a few extra bars were added). What a fantastic show.

Thank you for posting these! I also respect naming yourself after Kiss of the Spiderwoman, that musical is really underrated but good!

I am a life-long fan of Bernadette Peters--she can do everything. I'm totally indiferent to Elaine Stritch in this, mainly due to her refusal (stated in a filmed interview) to play the show only in her wheelchair as written. She was also miscast.

She should have opened the production with Angela...

The two leading ladies were totally miscast in this. Elaine was a Brilliant Actress. RIP Bernadette's speaking voice isn't very clear.
