A look around the new municipal market in Larnaca, Cyprus.

Жыл бұрынThe long awaited municipal market in Larnaca has finally opened. I went along to take a look around, 13 of the 20 stalls had started operating and I am told by the end of March, start of April they will all be open. On the first floor there will be 2 restaurants and 2 cafes, these are not yet open but due to open shortly.
The building is impressive and I’m sure it will be a popular place for both locals and tourists to purchase local products, gifts and souvenirs.

Hello, thanks for the video. I was wondering what it would turn out into. I must say that I was expecting something else, but I will go and have a look in a few weeks, I'll give my final verdict then.

I m eating a very generous breakfast in the caffe you suggested, 100 recomanded!!! Love Larnaca& Aghia Napa❤. The british young man is extremely sharp and friendly!!!! Thank you. The market is amazing! Going to Nicosia

Yes, it’s really nice what they have done, a lot of money has been invested in projects in Cyprus over the past few years. The donkey products are very popular as they have a lot of health benefits.

This area originally had a market and to keep the area as it was they decided to modernize it. It seems very popular with visitors and just across the road is zouhouri square that has now been restored and hosts events throughout the year. Nice area to visit with lots of historic buildings 👍🏻
