Devil May Cry has been around for over 20 YEARS, meaning there's been more than enough time for tons of spin-offs and appearances. From an anime, a manga, to even being in Street Fighter, Devil May Cry has done, and been in everything. The reason the dante model in MvCI looks bad is because its the exact model from MvC3 just without the filters

@jayistoro it was probably cheaper to make everything "realistic" and not stylized like MvC3 if you look at MvCI in any sort of way its just looks and trust me on this feels cheaper the only way to fight is the simple controls from MvC3 there are no normal controls Hopefully, with the MvC collection happening, we can get a proper Marvel vs Capcom 4

You don’t understand the sheer pain and betrayal I felt when I first played dmc peak of scam. I was hyping that game up for almost a year telling my friends dmc fans will be eating with a mobile version. I then streamed it on release just to be hit with a 24 hour wait. Then after that I stream the gameplay and I my disappointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined. All this while streaming to my friends who was laughing at me.

Ok trivia, the reason why trish is in mvc3 instead of say lady or nero, is because Hideki Itsuno director of dmc since 3 requested trish to be included, when mvc3 is in development capcom had to approach the characters creators to get approval to use as fighters in the game, this includes the dmc characters. And when they approached Itsuno, he agreed to put dante in but, in exchange, he wanted Trish in as well

The original version of DMC POC was basically an actual DMC game and the only gacha aspect of the game was devil arms, skins, and unlocking Vergil The version of the game where they added Nero, is when Nebula Joy showed their true colors and ruined the game The current Chinese version of the game is dead and I think has been shut down now, shows signs that DMC POC is not lasting a year, hopefully when the game shuts down that Capcom blacklist Nebula Joy and Capcom gets a better dev team to make a proper DMC mobile game

This ain't the developers fault it's the higher ups when they decided to make it that way. Also it is confirmed by the community manager that anything they want to release something they have to wait for it to be green lit by capcom which takes a lot of time.

Would be better for them if they scrapped the "2.0" version and continued on from the original 1.0 version, but this is Nebula we're talking about..

It really is a shame from the betas because of how much they managed to deal with touch screen compromises by adding in neat things like midair million stab and consolidating round trip as summon sword button for vergil and so on. Then they get wrestled into making a game where Dante doesn’t even use his guns…

One of the really weird things in the anime is that Dante really can’t be the Tony that the guy knew as a kid. Dante only went by Tony after the death of Eva, yet he remembers Tony’s mum, and Dante even admits that he did use name Tony at some point when he was younger but had no memory of his supposed friend or the town at all.

@@firerath I think you could simply explain it as either because of trama he is blocking parts of his mind, not remembering the time. I think though he remembered he just chose not to acknowledge it because as he said”he’s not that person anymore”

I think the reason for that is they're very hard to find in english... if you wanna buy one not all of them even released in english and finding a translation can be a nightmare. I kinda get it, but they seem really cool.

DmC: what happens when a company doesn't respect a beloved franchise. DMC5: what happens when a company is willing to take a step back and acknowledge they screwed up, before putting full resources into the hands of people who will do their utmost to respect that franchise. Imagine what other companies could do if they didn't drop a franchise because a bad entry flopped, but came back with a total homage to what made the series great, while going above and beyond on the next game. EA Bioware comes to mind.

Despite the dialogue and some questionable moments in the game’s storyline and characters personalities DmC is a fun game had a better time with it than DMC4.

Idk if someone else mentioned it but a fun Fact about his Veiwtiful Joe appearance is that Allister is stated to be the soul in the sword and is fighting Dante because of his misuse of the sword, stating that his swings were hurting when he hits inanimate objects or reflected magic. Dante, who wields Allister in that appearance, notes that the sword seems to have lost its luster without Allister in it.

Another cool (albeit frustrating considering that it's definitely gacha reliant to get them) thing with TEPPEN is that quite a few characters have EX Skins and the EX Skin for Zero is Vergil (with unique voice lines and animations)

Devil May Cry Gambling of Combat has 9/10 designs with 5-6/10 gameplay with a crushing of a DMC players soul/10 of grinding. Note: I’ve played since launch and I still feel like putting my head through a wall

Im gonna say something out of context of the video. Just finish playing dmc 5 SOS, my thought on his combat mechanic since Dmc3: 1. Dmc 3, simple due to unable to change style (only on divinity statue) and limited to 2 weapon only. (The NINTENDO SWITCH version will be go through, wait for it) 2. Dmc 4, first introduction of style switch, this is where it become more complex and 3 weapon switch. It is the HARDEST Dante to play on all series!! 3. Dmc 5, MOST COMPLEX Dante to played, properly using Devil Sword Dante summon sword, while cycling 4 weapon is like writing different letter on both in each right and left hand. Yet i dont know why, its NOT AS DIFFICULT to play as Dmc 4 Dante. 4. Dmc 3 NINTENDO SWITCH, the style switch and all weapon switch makes the complexity just slightly below Dmc 5 Dante. (Devil Sword Dante summon sword is the main reason why Dmc 5 Dante is more complex than Dmc3 SWITCH version) There is it, i just let it out. Btw, DMC 4 Dante on DMD, evertime he said "ROYALGUARD!!" is the scariest moment of the series!!

Been a while but I remember the anime being quite terrible, and the animation was crazy boring considering it was made by the same studio that later did One Punch Man. The new one better have some well choregraphed action and AT LEAST a shotgun JC into Divekick JC inertia Rainstorm or something. Then I'll be happy. One thing I will say tho is that the structure of the anime could suit itself really well to a DMC game (that's not Peak of Cashgrab)

Reboot Dante is in 2 Games The Smash Clone PlayStation Allstars and was a Skin in MVCI which funnily enough looks better than the main Skin

The Monster Hunter 4 DMC content probably isn't possible to get legally anymore since 3DS online closed, but it's very easy to get... otherwise Monster Hunter Frontier is a shut down MMO, so it's not possible to legally play, but there are fan servers setup if you have some technical know how Monster Hunter World's content should still be freely available, and I highly recommend the franchise. It's very close to being a charecter action game comprised entirely of boss fights. Just beware that there is quite a steep learning curve, especially on the older games. And don't use the Defender equipment

Looking into it a bit, the Monster Hunter 4 crossover content appears to also be in Generations Ultimate, which is available on the Switch. So you can legally get it there if you don't mind playing a different game

The reason devil may cry peak of combat was terrible is Nebulajoy greedy ass even their discord server is a mess people can get banned for saying something about the game because they try to promote the game there's a lot of paid to win stuff in the game so yeah it's pretty obvious the game have better combat system when it's in their 1.0 combat the the 2.0 was downgraded by a lot we still don't know why Capcom hasn't said anything it's only a matter of time until they catch up of what has been happening to the game a lot of people got scammed there's more information on KZfaq. (only play this game if you really want to)

Man, peak of combat at some point in the past, before it came out, was peak of combat, its combat was like the actual games and it was really good. Its just the ass company that made it/was a part of the mobile bit for some reason changed it
