Bobbi Brown was literally the first high-end makeup I purchased when I was younger. I followed her in the beginning of her career. I went to classes, purchased books. She is a phenomenal renaissance woman 👠

Jones Road, and by extension, Bobbie Brown, is a class act. I purchased the Miracle Balm which retails for $42.00. Not cheap by any means. I ordered the wrong color for my skin tone and asked for a refund. I got an email back from Jones Road telling me to keep the product and they gave me a full refund.

natural looking makeup might not be for everyone, but it is for many. natural looking makeup that is easy to use with many uses is a win for many people. if it’s something you don’t prefer, then you can shop with other brands/companies.

I do own Bobbi Brown makeup but never thought it flattered me. The women who look good in Bobbi’s makeup are young, and fair skinned. I have olive coloring with dark brown hair and eyes. As you get older nude makeup doesn’t flatter. You need a bright lip so you won’t look washed out.

Oh nooooo. Please no. As we get older the majority of us look far better with less makeup and less color, meaning soft neutral colors. Bright colors enhance any imperfections. If you prefer bright colors thats one thing, but saying its flattering on older skin is nearly universally untrue. Bobbi herself has the skin tone and coloring you are describing and looks very elegant in neutrals.

Ok, female tomboy here. I'm so naive about make up. I literally thought this brand was the old musician, Bobby Brown's, brand. And yes--I know Bobbi and Bobby are different. Just made an ignorant assumption. 🙃

I admire her, her career, and her attitude. But those ads are driving me crazy, and I can't help but wonder how sanitary the product is after fingers have been dabbling in it repeatedly.There must be something between aspirational elegance in commercials and that.

For me, Bobbi Brown as a make-up artist with her own brand never exuded youthfulness and being up to date with cosmetics. It was never exciting, boring. This is why I never bought with the exception of her fragrance Beach anything from her line.
