Not comparing only telling differences baseball is tough to bat because batter have round bats but in cricket it's easy to bat as they have broader bats. Both sports are great 👍💯

And the ball is nowhere near as hard and fast as baseball fielders. Baseball short stops and outfielders are clocked throwing in the 90 mile per hour range quite often by their statcast. Cricketers simply do not do that, and if they do... its incredibly rare.

@@Campserchers sure. few of the most fundamental differences are: 1) the playing area in cricket is 360°. You are allowed to hit the ball anywhere unlike in baseball where u can bit only forward. 2) there are two types of bowlers in cricket - fast bowlers and spin bowlers. 3) the ball is generally bowled by bouncing it off the pitch. the cricket ball is not completely smooth like a baseball ball. a cricket ball has something called 'seam' at the centre of it. so when the ball hits the pitch, it turns slightly in a certain direction depending on the seam position. this adds a level of difficulty for the batsman. 4) cricket is not just about hitting the ball out of the park. there are grounded shots in cricket as well. in general, the variety of shots in cricket is far more than baseball. 5) in baseball there is home run. in cricket there is 4 and 6. if the batsman hits the ball directly out of the boundary line, it's a 6. if the ball first bounces off the ground and then crosses the boundary then it's a four. 6) a batter only gets to bat once in a match. so initially the batsman plays defensive shots and later on and when he is set, he tries to be more aggressive. 7) fielders don't use gloves in cricket. they have to use bare hands.
