I like Mirror Magic, mainly because of Starlight Glimmer. It's yet another situation where she doesn't have access to her magic that she's so reliant on most of the time. Also her beanie is adorable. She's like a prototype of the Strawberry Shortcake that WildBrain would make years later.

7:44 this friendship mission is a throw away line, because the only times the pony mane 6 have all been called on a friendship mission were to Starlights village & to the Hollow Shades (season 7 final). Both cases in which Starlight wasn’t hanging out in the Friendship Castle. The only way this isn’t a throw away line is if the events of “A Matter of Principles” are taking place as the same time as this. As it was implied to taken a few days… (we’re not shown all the days in the episode.)

[MOVIE MAGIC]: This short is a direct sequel of "EQG4:Legend_of_Everfree" . . The director of the movie (and uncle of the antagonist) was seen on the "Gala" organized at the end of that movie in the Crystal Cavern. . His big donations of cash were the most important in order to save Camp Everfree from being taken over by Filthy Rich [hence why this particular movie of Daring Doo now has financial problems, because he used the "emergency spare" money already]. -> A big reason why this movie MUST SUCCEED (why "terminating it" is not an option), is because he also donated the "Royalties" this movie may generate in the future (ticket sales, DVDs, toys, etc) to maintain Camp Everfree basic expenses/taxes in the future.

[DANCE MAGIC]: This short is a "recycled" idea originally made as an "encore" short for "EQG3:Friendship Games". . The original reason for wining the money prize was to fund the school´s journey to Camp Everfree. . Because this has already happened, it was retroactively changed to the (later) travel to "International Waters" on the ship cruise of "EQG:Spring_Brakedown" [the Crystal Prep group motivation is precisely this, but they took a different boat on an earlier date].

I Really Like This Episode Of Mirror Magic Because Of Reasons I Would List Down But There Are Too Many Reasons But I Can Tell You This I Like How Starlight Becomes Human For The Very First Time When Sunset Comes Back Starlight Is Right There When Sunset Meets Starlight It Blew My Mind Another Reason Why Like About This Episode Is How Fast Sunset & Starlight Became Friends & In This Episode I See Sunset & Starlight Acting Like Sisters If You Really Look At It & See It You Really See Them Acting Like Sisters And I Don’t Know If People Have Been Noticing But Sunset & Starlight Have Similar Pasts And I Think It’s Most Likely Bonding Together Because If You Really Look At It Sunset Is Comfortable Being Around Starlight & Starlight Being Comfortable Around Sunset It’s Almost Like As If They Were Meant To Meet Each Other And The Final Reason Why Like This Episode Is Because I’ve Always Thought Why Isn’t Sunset & Starlight Part Of The Mane 6 Now Or In This Case On How I See It The Mane 8 Sure Both Sunset & Starlight Started Of As Villains But In The End They Both Have Been Redeemed & Have Been Reformed Plus They Both Are 2 Powerful Unicorns I See Them Both Training Under The Teachings & Guidances Of Princesses Twilight Picture It Like This 1 Teacher: Twilight Sparkle & 2 Students: Sunset Shimmer & Starlight Glimmer

I have some very strange objections about the second episode. By the time they turned into superheroes, it was actually impossible to change their costumes, it would be great if RD was in a Flash costume, or EJ in a Hulk costume, or Fluttershy in a black skintight suit. but no, it's just a repetition of the original.

[MIRROR MAGIC]: This special happens after the FiM Season 6 episode were Starlight & Twilight "fix" the cutiemap (that was "disabled" by the timetravel shenanigans of Starlight); but also sooner than the season 6 finale [given that Starlight feels insecure about her role as student of Twilight, something that was addressed in the immediate following of the Season 7 opener]. . While Starlight says that "all" of the Mane Six went out to fix "a" cutiemap problem, this is actually NOT TRUE. Later in the season 7 finale the cutiemap actually calls all of the mane six (but not Spike or Starlight); they pointed out that this has not happened since they had to stop Starlight in the Season 5 opener (also the first cutiemap mission they did). -> The most probable case is that the cutiemap called them to solve multiple tasks (likely in pairs) at the same time [with Twilight only telling Starlight about them "going out" with no more details]. . The reason why Sunset HAS to go to Equestria (to get a "new" Ansible Book); is because the one she had run out of pages (alongside the one linked to it, a book with Celestia´s Cutiemark) that are currently also being used as a "Dimensional Anchors" [bypassing the "security protocols" of the Mirror Portal with a complex contraption designed by Princess Twilight]. . Sunset can not "extend" her book on the EQG side (Pedestria); because she does not have the magical tools (& horn) to add more pages. -> She can NOT bring her book to Equestria (to add more pages), because doing so will BLOCK OUT all travel using the Mirror for a bit less than 30 moons (still more than 2 years, by that time the girls would had graduated from C.H.S. & go elsewhere to study on Universities). . The new "Ansible Book" Starlight gives to Sunset is actually linked to two other books (one for Twilight & another for Starlight), given that the cutiemark symbol is split in half (containing both). Starlight likely "hacked it" in order to get a copy of all texts sent between Sunset & Twilight [with the option of also writing/editing it from her book], to "spy" on their correspondence and/or to learn about their friendship. -> If Sunset or Twilight are aware of this is unclear.
