Thank you for sharing this series because it brought back so many memories of NYC and watching Vic Miles on Channel 2 news. Also, I found the updates on these communities to be very moving. 👍🏿

Briggs Avenue is where Engine 79 Ladder 37 and Battalion 27 is and where my maternal grandfather spent his final years in the FDNY from 1997-2003

I don't think this is Kingsbridge. It's more Fordham I think. Kingsbridge is more by the 1 train

@Amidat its kingsbridge the 4 and D line. It's also a horror show do to drugs crime poverty filth from lack of ppl caring. Crazy ppl all over the place etc... you name it. It's a down right dump. I'm a Bronxnite for 40 plus years. 199st.
