Hi Mae Mae, I think the cabbage collard that you mention is called a savoy cabbage to me it taste like a mixture of both, beautiful garden ....Yvonne

Hello Mrs.Mae Mae And Mr. Tuck . You have beautiful collard greens . I just showed my Daughter Roxy . How big the leaves are on your collard greens . She said they look so pretty . Gorgeous garden Mae mae and tuck good evening can't believe the garden grew so fast what month will you harvest it will harvest my collard greens when the frost fall what's left the bugs striped most of my leaves do you have a solution for that for next time❤you a d enjoy the rest of your Sunday

Dear Miss Mae Mae …. I don’t think I could wait for the first frost !!!! They’d be in my pot cooking IMMEDIATELY !!! I love collards all year long ! I have to have them once a week because I crave them so much ! I also love mustard , dandelion , kale and turnip greens as well . However collards are my (and my nieces) favorite . 😂😂😂😂😂😂 . If I cook collards when she’s here she will get a plate full and smuggle the rest home . 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I always cook a bushel so she can take plenty home . I have to laugh because she’ll call me and say “auntie I’m coming to spend the night (weekend) …. Can you cook me some greens pleeeeeeeeease ?” Who can resist a kid who’ll put the beg on you for greens ? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 . Your garden is beautiful . Bless you and tuck ! Happy belated 2024 ! ❤

Hey Dorothy thanks for reaching out, and the answer to your question is: I don’t know for your area or state you live in… for example,we live in southeast Alabama and from my experience with gardening I would say yes it’s to late because of the climate here. I planted my mustards and turnips the end of August.. even though it’s recommended here to start most of your Fall \ winter crops in September and October.. but I do our likes my parents back in the days in their lifetime 😢 may God rest theirs soul 🙏🏾 I hope this can help you in some kind of way, and thanks for watching 😍🥰😇🙏🏾

Yes that’s true.. I just miss spoke.. I have shared that tip with you guys in the past 😊 and you must be careful not to over cook them after the frost has fallen on them 🥰
