He should still be here. I remember when I was attending Sandford Junior High in Minneapolis. My 7th grade teacher use to be his teacher. She said that he was a quiet and polite student, and respectful. That was 1988.

Prince owned many properties and lived in most of them at some time. Paisley Park was never even close to being abandoned and is now a museum. YES some parts of the place are blocked off for the public but the place is awesome! I always liked how down to earth Prince actually was when he rode his bicycle to Walgreens and we would say hello. He did talk for a short while but then went on his way. We never asked for autographs or got wild like a crazy fan just acted normal. I attended only one of his concerts in Paisley Park and it was kind of strange and had lots of odd rules to attend. I see some comments on here saying he did not live at Paisley Park. Well yes he did stay here more than people know. It was his hiding place but he would walk or ride his bike outside the gates often. He was always so cool and I miss him.

This video is totally messed up. You have clips of his former house in Toronto and then photos of another house in Minnesota, mashed with footage from Paisley Park. This is not all one location. And you are calling his studio his mansion. Yes he did live there, but it is not a mansion. The footage you showed for the galaxy room isn’t even the galaxy room that was the board room. Paisley Park was never abandoned at all. It functions as a museum now and all his possessions are still there. He did have other properties but they were not in his possession. Just stop making up stuff, please.

Why talk about Paisley Park and include pictures of his other homes, namely his home in Canada? This is misleading since some will think his home in Canada is Paisley Park. PP also wasn't abandoned ever!

If you're going to make a video about one of the greatest musicians of all time please realize his fans will be viewing this as well. First of all Paisley Park was never abandoned. It was never in disrepair. Did it need some remodeling, yes, but was never in bad shape. Also, his ashes were taken out because many fans were getting too emotional during the tours seeing their music idol directly in front of them in a Paisley Park replica. Right after his death plans were put in motion immediately to turn in into a museum which is something Prince always had in his plans anyway. The same company that runs Graceland for Elvis now runs Paisley for the Prince Estate. And yes, Prince did live there. The upper floors which are not shown during the tours were where Prince had his living quarters.

Paisley Park is not a mansion. It's a large scale production and recording studio. Prince had an apartment within the complex.

Why do people make stuff up about Paisley Park, and Prince himself. Paisley Park has never been abandoned, it’s never been put on the market, much less at a reduced price! It’s a museum. You can go on tours there, it’s a very successful venture, that continues to attract his fans from all over the world. 🙏🏽💜.

I saw him twice on the Purple Rain tour. Prior to that I happened to see him at a Rolling Stones concert 1981. People weren’t ready for him wearing a purple frock coat snd frilly Victorian style shirt. He was way ahead of his time.

This video shows 2 of Prince's homes - One is his marital home with Mayte (yellow home) and the other is his marital home with Manuela. I disagree with Paisley being termed as his home. It was built as a recording studio. He lived there to work on the plans to turn it into a 'museum' and his plan was to buy a house in Chanhasen.

The Toronto house at 61 The Bridle Path, was sold in his divorce, in 2007, and has been listed and or sold at least a half dozen times since then. It was also 950 miles from Paisley Park, I doubt he made that commute very often.

It was his recording studio and he had bedrooms in it for if he had to spend the night and rest and for other people to rest and spend the night as well for they didn’t had to stay at an hotel. It was more of a recording studio and he had a dance studio, a room where he had people styling and making his outfits, he had a huge performing stage where he recording some of his music videos at and parts of sign o the times as well. It is now a museum and his kitchen is now a restaurant where they serve some of his favorite vegan meals. It’s ridiculous that you’re saying it’s abandoned because a lot of artist have recorded in his studio,after he passed and one of my favorite artist is Beck. In 1968 he lived on 31st and Clinton avenue. I was his friend i built a airplane out of wood and we had fun . I remember his mom painted a star on their wooden floor. We took down a white cat tired to the flag pole at South high... I remember him I was his friend... Rip prince..

It's as if it's being implied that the entrance one see's is the entrance to Paisley Park when in fact it' the entrance to his home in Toronto when he was married to Manuela (not sure how she spells her name). I worked in Minn the year he died, and went to the house just for curiosity. I saw several black cars in the driveway, and it was fenced off. I was told by other people walking around like me that it was being transitioned as a museum, and no one was allowed inside. I saw the things attached to the fence, but could only see a portion of the house because of the trees. You couldn't tell from the outside it was so big.

So much wrong information here. Starting with how many times it's stated that Paisley Park is abandoned. If that was the case, my daughter & I wouldn't have played a game of ping pong on his table. Lol. It's a beautiful, & amazing museum & I know I'm not alone when I say how lovely it is that it's open to the public & to all of those who want to honor & pay respect to our purple legend. He was genius. Our tour guide said he purposely set it up like a museum years ago. His piano is still there. So much is still there, so I don't know why it was mentioned that things were sold off. Even his 2 doves (at the time, one has since passed a few years after our visit), but they were there. Majesty & Divinity 🕊️🕊️ And I've NEVER heard of Paisley Park being on the market. The house he purchased before his untimely death was the one that Purple Rain was filmed in. That one has been on the market, but not his home. Paisley Park is not abandoned at all, was at his house summer of 2023 booked the $100 tour and it was well worth it. There are fully functioning staff that work there. The house is a museum on the lower levels no one allowed upstairs and on the side even has a gift shop upon exiting, not feeling that this video is labeled as his house is abandoned.
