My mom hoarded papers,clothing, trash, and more. A cousin died in his hoard. There are many other people in my family who save papers and torn clothes and have problems throwing things away. Tina, Al's wife

Hoarding does often run in families. Randy Frost specializes in compulsive hoarding disorder and is a professor of psychology in USA - there are videos of his very lovely lectures and I have two of his books - "Stuff" and "Buried in Treasures". There needs to be an organization for the children of people with compulsive hoarding disorder as that is a particular kind of trauma.

What a lovely smile she has. Great video. So glad they have been able to make progress. I relate to so many of the things they said. I would say I'm in recovery mode but still have some progress to be made.
