I could never foster all of them would be fails😂 I am 71 and have had cats 🐈‍⬛ my entire life. The one that stays with me now is named Scooby ❤7 years old and 18 Lbs. He sleeps 🛌 on my chest every night as I listen to Stephen.

One of my cats, the haunted one, helps me fall asleep at night. She'll watch me get set up with a sleep story, and I'll sometimes get her to snuggle in with me by saying things like "come, let us get comfy-cozy. We feel the support of our bed underneath us. We sink into our space with every deep breath..." That cat needs to meditate every bit as much as her Daddy does.

When I read your comment, I felt like I could have written those words. I hope it's not weird that I'm writing to you. I don't usually do this. I just wanted to share that in spite of how many people can behave badly toward the chronically ill, there are plenty of us out there experiencing similar things. I have so many chronic medical issues, it is truly crazy. I also have this "freak gene" that I inherited from my mom!😊 I can't tell you how many of my doctors have said, "I've never seen..." or " Oh, you're one of those people that..." There's plenty of . . .😊 Really, I just wanted to say, you are not alone. I'm guessing (or hoping) that you didn't get a FREAK GENE! 😂 I'm really grateful for Stephen. I just love the sound of his voice. I'm guessing he's a tenor bordering on bass. It's depth really resonates. It is incredibly soothing to someone like me who's body is on edge most of the time. Even when I'm in the worst pain and can't relax, Stephen's voice, his slow even way of speaking during his relaxation portion preceeding the story somehow penetrates and erases all the angst, no matter the source. I hope you find healing in the 'medicine' that Stephen provides.

@@DSTHOPEISALIVE hi!! no it’s not weird at all, I love meeting other chronically ill people hahah. don’t worry, my medical history is so crazy long I wouldn’t be surprised if it needed its own set of filing cabinets😂 I also happen to be a rare case too! look at us go hahah. I was going to suggest a story about dragons and here it is, thank you! I love the fantasy stories and also the ones with rains sounds as I find it soothing. I really love the nature stories, my favorite story that I always going back to is the rainy car ride in Japan. Any story Stephen does is relaxing as his accent and the tone of his voice are calming and soothing.

I agree, I have anxiety and sometimes it keeps me up at night because my brain keeps thinking but when he reads us these stories it lets me let go of the day and relax and sleep peacefully. I'm glad she would enjoy these stories as well

I find it useful to listen to one story a week several times. Then you can stay awake for a bit. To really enjoy these Dragons story , my favorite. Can you make one about Lady Dragon Riders ?? ❤

Stephen another wonderful story thank you so much. The other night was are Fourth of July celebrated with tons of fireworks. Unfortunately for the last twenty years it has given me some terrible flashbacks. I came up with a plan to use your stories as a buffer by listening to them until the noise was over. It worked perfectly. I was relaxed the entire evening and was able to drift off nicely. Damn another thing to thank you for. I’m glad we’re friends.🤪

I love this story, it reminds me of a poem my Dad would read to us as children, Custard the Dragon by Ogden Nash. Perhaps this is might be of interest to you for a sleep story.

I really enjoyed this one. What about horse drawn carriage Westernish, setting up camp, long grass, horses, settling and grazing, camp fire, stars, shooting stars, well deserved rest, dogs lay to rest. Rolling swag out. I’m Australian so even an outback setting? By a billabong? 😅 Or after drovering

Hi Stephen, I'll give you a spooky story that my mammy told me It was dark and the atmosphere was electric She was lost after going to the village not far to get some meat, my mom took a short cut and Infront was a military man. He said , Kathleen follow me a me and don't loose the path, for i will safety brings you home. When she told mamma, my mum was told that Sean ohanrssy had died 20 yrs ago 😮xc

Good Night World- thank you Stephen for your work- I admit I almost never have a clue what your stories are about because I sleep in that fast, but I take that as a positive and have enjoyed some stories during my waking hours because I felt I finally needed to find out what a story was about after sleeping in to it for like 4 nights in a row😅😊
