I don’t understand why Bobby’s mother and sister didn’t like Bobby’s wife Brittany; why would his mother say that Brittany “stole” Bobby from her; its Bobby’s decision not the family’s decision but at least they apologized after the DNA results.

My mother/family had a similar attitude towards my girlfriend (no kids involved, they just hated my girlfriend for existing, lol). It’s toxic parenting, seeing kids as property they own, and feeling threatened by them having a life outside of them.

Brittany would have been justified to damn both but at the end of the day she did what was right for her on emotional state and more importantly for her kids. Kudos to sis and Mom (eventually) for seeking forgiveness. I wish them the very best, they may have just changed the lives of their kids for the better (wholesome).
