BMW boxer is the greatest engine config and it is paired with a shaft drive so no better set up ever made... I recently bought my R9T its 2014 the first original Roadster model. 26 t km on it,. It is just a bike I always wanted. I am from Croatia, our economy standard isn't very high so for me to buy this beauty really wasn't cheap. But now that I have it, I will slowly make her in to a perfect motorcycle one can own. Add this great Wunderliche Daytona half fairing cause it just makes it a beauty, and dress my original seat in to real leather which I will protect with wax... Add bit's and peaces to make it even better. This is a bike I will keep for life, and always love to ride it every opportunity I get.

+RedRoo13 Thanks for the like! i do new reviews every week so feel free to subscribe and check them out! and the fairing on this bike was made by Wunderlich, they have a ton of great parts for Bimmer bikes, they are kind of expensive, but the BEST Quality!

+PetrolAddict Thanks for the info. I'm looking at a used, low mileage R Nine T this weekend. If I buy it, I think the fairing would add lots of comfort on all day rides, especially rides that include high speed stretches of road. Also, that fairing doesn't compromise the nice looks of the bike.

+desmoface The R nine T is an amazing bike, and yeah the S1KR takes a special person to fall in love with it, thats the reason I bought the RR instead. HAHA. I'm super excited about the new Monster R comingout, they need to release some full pictures of it!!! My only draw back with the BMW's is that they are very Germanic, they are amazing bikes in both performance and reliability; but can sometimes feel like they are lacking the "SOUL" that you would get from say an Italian Ducati, But I dont know if that would stop me from buying the R9T over the Duc, hard choice and we wont know till we see a MONSTER R in real life.

+PetrolAddict Your very lucky, the BMW dealerships in the Cleveland, Ohio area don't offer demo's. I visited one that had a used R9t that I was seriously considering - I asked if I could take it for a spin, they said, "we don't do demos," so I had to walk away. Tis a shame because I would have likely bought it if it's as good as you say.

desmoface I will agree that I am lucky to have a great Dealer here in St. Louis they will let you ride just about anything besides their new MODUS bikes. the bike is great, but I wouldnt ever buy anything without getting a proper ride on it. If you have any questions aobut it let me know.
