Meteors was too basic for me. ._.
Asteroids/Astroids is slow and random so I used MeddySoul/Chaos's White Cap ability to give it stun properties. NapalmSoul's passive ability buffs all your realtime null and fire chips with +10 so I just wanted to have some really, really buff meteors causing a mass extinction event in real time. Shame the time didn't work out in my favor.

I actually consider this video a fail because I never got the Sub10 down with this method. At the end, I jacked out and saved, thus surrendering the RNG seed I had locked for retries _just_ to force myself to not spend another 40 hours attempting a decent recording (like I'd done with the GridmanSP videos...). At the time, I still had more BN to play, after all. Maybe someday I'll revisit it. Was actually surprised to see myself give up for once, lol, when I was rewatching the VODs to find my previous runs. I must have been really tired that week. Hope that the little bit of editing at least makes it a bit entertaining to watch!

Even if it isn't sub 10, it's still a crazy combo, and in your other video you linked you proved that you're more than capable of beating her sub 10 even with almost an identical play. Don't beat yourself up about being so close to the arbitrary goal. Be proud of this insane style you've got in the first place.

Dude, that's so sweet! Thanks so much for the encouragement. I'm not miffed by it anymore since this was recorded like a year ago but I'd be lying if I said it doesn't minutely bother me that my goal was incomplete. xD Appreciate your kind words very much!

Your tolerance for luck-driven combos is both commendable and concerning. Hopefully, you'll figure out how to make this sub-10 one day, just for your own sake, but honestly, it's absurd enough as is.

Thank you DZ3, for both your commendation _and_ your concern, haha! This actually originated as a meteors gunsol combo thing that everyone does but unfortunately, it wasn't even close. If I ever return, I'd like to nail that some day.

what was the pont of the airhockey in this combo? was it supposed to hit and it never does?

Great question--there isn't actually any point, really. It's just bonus damage to help close the gap for if an Asteroid misses (which you saw is very often the case with this strat). The real reason I select it, is because Atk+30 is my 13th chip drawn. If I don't select AirHockey Turn 1, then after Fullcust, Areagrab S would be my last drawn chip (Atk+30 would have to wait until Turn 3). That's what I meant earlier about RNG Seed locks, I knew that these chips would appear in this order, it was just a matter of now trying to get the kill in the 2 turns I had and we all saw how that turned out. ,_,

@@rebycVGoooh that makes sense! I hadn't noticed you were drawing the same chips on each try. I imagine its the only feasible way of trying these strats over and over.

You should have cut out tossing the airhoc, and waited on the dblpoint until you got all 9 lava panels, as well as going a bit faster on the area grabs at the start and positionkng yourself in the backrow to start off

The airhoc was never essential to the fight, and removing the lava panels from her side before dblpoint helps stop her from going into flashing state. You could not only hit a sub10, but with a decent amount of luck you could probably hit sub 9

If only you were around for the livestreams last year for that input, LOL. As for your strat itself, I think you're overestimating how long 10s lasts. It costs about 0.66s to collect 3 lavapanels of damage, not including the time to then step back to allow doublepoint to capture efficiently. My initial strategy called for that and it was just too slow. Airhockey itself is a nonissue because it's soulcanceled and doesn't really do anything positive or negative, lol. And the Areagrabs are pretty optimal in terms of speed, at least in the one good run from 0:25 to 1:10. Teeeechnically, I could have saved a few frames from not throwing out airhockey maybe, but I don't think it's enough for 160 milliseconds since it was soulcanceled as mentioned earlier. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ptB0gcifmq6qoYU.html Here's a lamer version if it working without lavaseed. @rebycVG I forgot about that since Idr use Protoman souls, but with all 9 lava panels couldn't you cut out Dblpoint entirely?
