Since hurricane season is coming quite often lemme share some tips and tricks! -Hurricanes are more affective and often have windspeeds 74 mph or greater than that! -Block all outside entrances in your home! -Have emergency supplies,toilet-trees,and overnight bags ready in case of needing to go to shelter! -Stay in a room with no windows or go to an underground space if needed! (Ex:bathrooms,basements,shelters,etc) -Pack toothpaste,toothbrushes,clothes,canned/contained food, books/devices for entertainment if needed,pillows,blankets,sleeping bags,boots/umbrellas (incase of flooding),matches, lamps. -Remain calm -Stay in touch with the weather -Develop a plan in case of a "worst case scenario" -Stay in touch with family and friends Stay safe!🌪

Some More Tips: -A hurricane can spawn "storm surge" which can flood coastal areas before the hurricane even arrives. -The eyewall is the most intense part of the hurricane while the eye is the most calm part of the hurricane. -Hurricane Season starts June 1st.
