Just to clear any confusion -- 'Express Engines' will be filmed in TVS style. This video takes place in a different universe where the same events unfold, but just in a 'RWS' style. :)

Stupendous my boys! I think much the same about the message of this; the same young un who indirectly gave everyone Rosie, Fearless Freddie and Jeremy the Jet, because I thought I could give the people-in-charge of the official show new ideas from within my little comfort zone in an intimidating large world. Now, I have an original idea which I hope to share with you all; an engine who may not have the same stamina as all those who've reached Sodor before; she may not be as grand and noble as Castle; she may not be as spontaneously impacting as Carson's Richard; she is not simply a token female like Emily; she is not introduced out of pressure like Nia and Rebecca; but 1669 Teresa, and her owners the Shaw family, are pleased that I wish to tell her story for you all, and how she left her own small mark on the Island. Who is she though? You'll find out soon... Samuel F.

Another Grand Slam with this one,Rhy..... Dig the Message and I'm backing your Work All the way. He looks GREAT! Can't wait for the Content... So Stoked ,Man..... Such a subtle yet Stately class of engine , the Castle Class. And they never get much recognition. The LNER Gresley Greats were icons and rightfully so... but the Castles were just as elegant looking to me . I guess it's dreams of being able to go back to my ancestral homeland country back to Cornwall on one that always made me appreciate and have fondness for the GWR. One can almost mentally project themselves aboard a First class Dining or Lounge car bound for Paddington pulled by one . Arriving in, right on time ...Dead on Midnight. Walking up and presenting the Driver and Fireman and Guard each a little envelope of tip money to grab a good First Class meal fit for King and three gift wrapped bottles of Champagne from the lounge car for them and the Guard as thanks for getting the train in smooth and safe. One can dream I guess..

Very grateful for the kind feedback. Rhydyronen asked me to write this back before Christmas, and with the ongoing pandemic, it felt right to remind everyone that things will get better again in time. I'm particularly grateful to Michael White for coming on to help with the stage directions and script editing, Dmman33 is a wonderful voice artist for the character going forward and Rhydyronen is going to nurture the character's growth on screen beautifully. We have some great stories coming up, and we cannot wait to share them with you. It's an exciting time for the Extended Railway Series!

I am not looking for any spoilers but are the writers going to explain way the Great western railway named one of their express engines after a Sudric Castle in the first place and if his uniquess and his own Sudric connection saved him in the end and gave him a new life on the NWR? the GWR named one of their Castle class engines after the Norman Castle in my home town of Launceston North Cornwall and one of the name plates are on display in the Local Museum.

is there some room for Meg a Female steam engine Character I created a few years ago in the series? she is a newly built engine and Is a BR standard 4 4-6-0 tender who was built especially for the NWR.

Not gonna lie, hearing that voice come out of Sodor Castle was rather jarring. I kept expecting him to start screaming at Derek XD The nostalgia rush hearing all these classic SIF voices again is really something to behold. And that's to say nothing about the quality of the filmmaking. You lot have come a LONG way since the Original trailer for "The Express Engines" was posted all those years ago.

Rhydyronen, again I must say you and the SiF team are doing wonders here. What I originally assumed quite naturally was going to be a straight narrative adaptation like Edward's Branch Line - though again that was great too - is turning out desiring to be something more. The vocal casting must surely be again be taking on an air not far removed from the old audio and redub productions the SiF team that I still recall watching on their old webpage; when awe for what they did impressed a struggling myself I can tell somehow we'll be seeing that again. The Trainz model-makers working with you must not be allowed to underpin their creative abilities either; this is the sign of great quality even when it seems like a mainstream trend for senior Thomas fans. I want my '1669: Teresa' project I've hinted at already to be something like this when I'm ready to showcase it properly; maybe I ought to set up a Twitter account for myself to help in that despite my confidential reservations. A beautiful looking video with stellar graphics! I remember last fall I had one of the worst times of my life. I had a car accident after getting into one the year before and feared I would lose my insurance. Then I began to run low on finances and other things happened that just made life seem miserable, and I hit a deep depression. But I knew it wouldn't last forever and soon enough things began to get better within a few weeks. I got another car and I got paid. Things still aren't perfect, but I have no doubt they will get better soon. I watched "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" today and I can say that it has a good message as well similar to this one. It all taught me to think positively no matter what and to have hope, and that bad days are there so we appreciate the good ones even more.

Okay, can I just say how much I love Sodor Castle's voice? It fits him perfectly, and it's one of those voices where you can tell what a character's personality is going to be like just from their voice alone. His voice literally sounds like as if he were introduced in the CGI series. I can see it now, Sodor Castle getting a Flying Scotsman like introduction, with Thomas in awe as he backs down towards the express headed for the mainland and beyond. Whoever did the voice for Sodor Castle did an excellent job; another brilliant video as usual Rhydyronen!

Getting hyped for the next episode of "Express Engines" and thought I'd check this out. I love how Castle talks about how trying times were the year before the upload of this video. Everyone knows that life was very tough with Covid and all, but here we are now! Dmman33 also does an excellent job with the character

I remember that around this time, i had a cancer and needed to remove it. I was so depressed about it that i already considering doing what many did it, that start with S. I watched this video, since it started on my old account, i noticed that Sodor Castle is right. We all have our lowest points but we’ll never give up, we shouldn’t give up for anything, we have the potential of continuing it. And look where i am now! I’m doing videos for fun and now my cancer is gone forever! This video inspired me to not do what i wanted to do. We all should listen to friends and our family, have the generosity of them and always willing to help the others. Thank Aiden for doing this video thag motivated me so much ❤

So many thoughts to share! Wow! That cinematography blew me away! Incredible use of camera movement and lighting, and great set design! My word, these RWS-style models look incredible! So much detail, down to the wear and pitting on the wheels! Even puts some DTG TS models to shame! Thank you for this uplifting message. This new year has gotten off to a rough start, but at last there is at least a chance that things might start to get a little better. Lastly, I know he's primarily meant for existing ERS story adaptations, but can I just say I would love to see a special story crossing Sodor Castle with Richard the New Engine from Carson Marenka's Thomas stories?

This was honestly the pick me up I needed. As you may know, a lot of England is in serious lockdown, so I haven't seen friends or family in what feels like ages. It's been dreadful...and I've felt rather defeated. But oddly, a talking GWR (SWINDON PRIDE MATE!) actually cheered me up. Cheers lads, and we will get through this!
