That's great. Lots of good ideas for me. I once made a tiny railroad in an old shoe shine box (I put that one up on KZfaq a while back). It's really just tiny train cars the size of a thumb nail, going in and out of a tunnel, around a tiny town, powered by a small DC motor from a rotisserie toaster oven. A silly little thing, but it got me interested in making stuff.

Hic... The wine was great but I prefer the micro layout more so. It has a strong industrial flavour with just a hint of steam although there is a slight bouquet of diesel!!! This little layout is absolutely outstanding. Well done.

This looks wonderful. I love the N gauge ones but it is nice to see some of the more intricate detail even if it does make for a smaller scene. Does the fiddle yard pack away inside the box when it's not in use, or would you have to store that separately?
