Over two years of planning, isolating, reassembling, and rehearsing all lead up to a historic performance in the 2021 Macy’s Parade by the Million Dollar Band. This short documentary by Dawson Estes and Nick Golden follows the band through all the hardships and trials that would result in the best band the University of Alabama has ever fielded.

Saw you guys out there. I was with the Macys Great American Marching Band as an Alumni member marching. So glad to have seen you guys March in the parade. It was well worth seeing. Met with some of the members at Radio City and wish them good luck.

I used to really respect this band because of how amazing they sounded but after I saw comments and videos about a boy in the percussion line trying to sexuallyy harass a girl in some way, I can’t say that I enjoy listening to this at the moment because the Director doesn’t seem to take much action against the problem nor address it with the victims. Of course it’s all alleged but I feel uncomfortable knowing that this is still an issue and no one is doing anything for these poor girls and they are allowing him to drum while all of this is happening. Care to explain to fans? Post a statement? I am surprised with the way this is being pushed aside

Where did you hear this from? Bc I’m in the percussion section here at bama and I have heard nothing at all ab anything like that

Care to explain what you’re talking about? There is no record of it and I know many band members. Not one of them validates your accusation.
